Family Talks About Fighting Murder Conviction Against Edmond Soldier

By Chris McKinnon, News 9 -

Michael Behenna
EDMOND, Oklahoma -
The family of an Oklahoma Army soldier, convicted of murdering an Iraqi civilian, vows to continue the fight to free their son.

The highest military appeals court upheld the murder conviction of 1st Lt. Michael Behenna on Thursday. Sunday night News 9 is learning what options the family has to keep the case alive.
Behenna says he shot and killed an Iraqi in self-defense, but the military judges say he had no right to self-defense because it happened during an un-approved interrogation.

It wasn't the news the Behennas hoped to hear. In a split 3-2 decision the highest military appeals court decides to uphold an un-premeditated murder conviction. But it's clear his family, friends and legal team aren't ready to give up.

MSNBC doesn't have to because FOX's court case already set a precedent in the case you cited. What, do you think the Left is Good and the Right is Bad?

Everyone manipulates and distorts to their advantage - which is why I think this whole health care take over is one big screw job. If you think a 2,700 page law isn't going to find a way to F**k with you, you are dreaming. It's like the President said, "maybe your grandma just needs a pain pill."

Are you excited that a government appointed health board will make that decision for your family? How are you going to feel when its a Republican appointed board? At least when a private insurance company gave you the run around, you could sue them in court. When the government gives you the run around, you'll have no where to go.

Believe me, if the Right had made this law, liberals would be terrified of republicans getting into their healthcare.

<quoted text>You remind me SOOOOO much of the 4th year medical students who shun Primary Care and Internal Medicine because they want that $300,000 annual income as an OB/Gyn. Then we see them 6 years later after graduating from residency and learning the hard way that OB/Gyns pay half their income in malpractice insurance and stand call every third night... One of the worst quality of life of any medical specialty.

And the over 50 are people over age 50. Look at England and Canada's healthcare system. They are what the US is trying to emulate. In those countries, people over 50 years of age are offered minimal treatment. An example would be, people over age 50 are not eligible for dialysis.

You just want to be a slave owner and not pay for anything. I know you are incapable of understanding this so why don't you go and live in the middle of the desert and try seeing how well that works for you?

You hate society. You hate government. You hate other people. Why don't you prove your cheap libertarian point and really be independent of others?

What are the 20-21 taxes?
Who are the 50 year olds?

You talk crap. You are nonsense.
Do you not comprehend that although the policies are cheaper, we are paying more policies. Therefore it costs more.

I know you aren't this stupid. You obviously just want to repeat yourself and ignore provided links in hopes conservatives will simply give up debating you.

<quoted text>Right on the mark

I was a Medic in the service and now a PA working at a Hospital in the ER that has a 480 bed capability.
Just last week 9 physicians announced that they are retiring and ending their practice. A few of them are considering to enter medical education and donating time a a free clinic. 2 Physicians have stated that they will only treat patients that pay cash.

Paying cash for treatment there is no Government involvement with does and don't and they will not have Government board of DR. giving approval or disapproval for procedures that their patient may need or not need
Under this bill the quality of medicine will be compromised immensely.
The bill is design to destroy good medical care to the American people Medicine will go backwards 50 or 60 years
Exactly. I can't get through to these brainwashed, spoon fed people. Once they realize what a mistake this was, it will be too late to go back.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
