The United States appears to have taken Kabul by surprise by announcing plans to end its Afghan combat role earlier than expected, and coinciding with a secret report that the Taliban is confident it can grab back control of the ravaged country.

Judged: 4 3 2 While President Obama was increasing the Troops in Afghanistan the Republicans were calling him a war monger. As soon as he starts reducing the troops the Republican start acusing him of cut and run and throwing Afghanistan under the bus. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Sheer nonsense on both counts. Obama ramped up the war drastically over Bush's efforts, and was attacked for it by the right. Now he's being demonized for pulling out too soon. Your side is playing partisan politics, putting Party before country yet again. And the Taliban WILL be taking over eventually after we leave, so the whole effort's been in vain. We're going to have to deal with them sooner or later. Only an imbecile would think there'll be a pro-American, non-Taliban government running the place anytime soon. Wake up yourself, learn something about foreign policy. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Our enemy learned from the USSR that how to defeat a super power is to make them keep spending and spending and spending....In last 12 years we have added 10 trillion to the national debt over half of which is war and nation building money......Hopefully we can elect Ron Paul and put an end to this kind of waste once and for all.Oblammy is to weak to make the cuts we need. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I wonder how many unpatriotic warhawks pay Mitt Romney's 13.9% in taxes. You know wars don't pay for themselves. A lot of Halliburton and Blackwater ho's make good money on war, but those hos don't pay Middle Class tax rates. It's no wonder Trump is supporting Romney. It's a club of .006%ers vs. the rest of us. I say we fire Romney and boycott Trump. Put the Trumpster in the dumpster. RON PAUL 2012! |

Judged: 1 1 1 We could have saved a lot of grief and money if we just started bombing Pakistan. New reports say that Pakistan intelligence is still supporting the Taliban and leaking intelligence. Bush and Pakistan are the reasons for the lost decade in America. RON PAUL 2012! |

Judged: 2 1 1 What SPIN. Obama tripled the cost and the forces and the death toll in Afghanistan- for NOTHING. Remember this? Obama calls situation in Afghanistan 'urgent' AFGHANISTAN July 20, 2008 Sen. Barack Obama said Sunday that United States needs to focus on Afghanistan in its battle against terrorism. "The Afghan government needs to do more. But we have to understand that the situation is precarious and urgent here in Afghanistan. And I believe this has to be our central focus, the central front, on our battle against terrorism," Obama said Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation." "I think one of the biggest mistakes we've made strategically after 9/11 was to fail to finish the job here, focus our attention here. Obama said troop levels must increase in Afghanistan. "For at least a year now, I have called for two additional brigades, perhaps three," he told CBS. (snip for length) Mission Accomplished? Hoo boy, libs are such hypocrites. You can't blame Bush for the last three years of FAILURE in Afghanistan. Well, you can, but it is a lie. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Sorry but Paul's foreign policy is suicidal!! If you think leaving will make them stop. You need to read a history book! Go back a little further. The same area we are having trouble in is the same area Alexander the Great had his problems. Nothing new!! |
