Forget all those crazy polls out there. They are all biased per one party or the other and mean nothing.
The Electoral College has called the race in April of each election year but one in the last hundred years and it called it for Obama this April but an election is not set in stone so instead of looking at those polls that are worded in odd ways, look at this one each day if you are into politics. It takes 270 needed to win and 300 needed to win in a landslide. It has not yet been updated for this day but yesterday had Obama with 317 so expect some swings back and forth a little through Election Day but for Mitt to win would take a miracle and especially if rumors are true that Hillary is going on the Obama ticket at the convention. Romney should have put someone from FL or NY on his and a female imo and he should have changed his religion long ago too if he wanted to be President but too late now so in 90 days we will all know. I am not voting for a President this year but I will predict Obama wins again, Democrats hold or are tied in the Senate with VP tiebreaker and Republicans hold or even gain seats in the House. Going out to 2016, Condi Rice will become the first female President, win in a landslide and take both Houses of Congress in her first term and then lose the Senate in her second term but she is a two term President like Obama and I will vote for her. She is an intellectual, knows much, is a moderate and a good lady. I like her so am biased only when it comes to her that year. Here is the only poll you need to watch each day. I hope your man wins whichever one it is. http://electoral-vote.com/ |

I have predicted correctly for Presidents and midterms with a good record. I missed one and that was Bush in 2000. I said Gore would win and he won the popular vote but that does not make a President in this Federal Republic. Only when we one day become a Democracy will popular votes matter.
Did you know that if you live in a red State and it goes Democratic that YOUR vote for the Republican is then converted into a Democratic vote and certified after counted and goes to the Democrat? Did you know this is true the opposite way too in blue? Did you know there is no excuse to have an Electoral College system? Did you know that in 2008 there was a 16 year old Electorate voting on an important Presidential Election and that it is legal for under age to be Electorates? Did you know half the States have no laws stating the popular vote must count and the Electorates can vote for what they want even if everyone voted for one person? Did you know Electorates are PAID OFF? It is time to get rid of the Electoral College and go with the popular vote. It is time to get rid of these groups that donate money where a President then owes favors. They are called special interest groups and I know how to get rid of them in next post as well as Electoral College since both are unfair to both parties and my party the Independent party. |

We are stuck with the Electoral College and special interest groups this year but as soon as January when the new Congress and President are sworn into office, CALL YOUR REPS and demand they vote to get rid of the Electoral College. Start a movement on this and let's get it done. No one here likes it so we can all agree on this one thing.
I think we can all agree on special interest groups. Liberals get funding and so do conservatives and the third Party gets NOTHING. How about making voting the important matter it should be? This means cracking down on fraud and felons from voting and no more dead people voting as is usual in each election ON BOTH SIDES. There are two main elections each four years. A presidential and a midterm. There are three parties but you don't hear much about Independents anymore because my party has not been in power in a long time and lacks funding. I assure you, my party will keep the other two in check. How about if we pay a small fee every four years to vote to ensure no special interest group is owed anything and those elected only owe us? Two elections and three parties. 100 million voters. What if we gave three dollars every four years to be allowed to vote? Three bucks every four years even the poor could afford that and then divide that money up equally between all three parties for the midterms and Presidential so no one has more money or owes anyone other than the people. We would have a good idea of how they are spending money. Some will be smarter with it than others and that is their problem since not a dime more allowed. This would result in fair elections, a popular vote count and a President who owes YOU instead of special interest groups. Republicans tend to end up owing big oil and Wall Street while Democrats tend to owe big Pharmaceutical and Main-street. Let's change this. Big oil=Halliburton and others and big pharmaceutical=embryonic stem cell research and others. Wall Street is corrupt as is Main Street. Democrats force regulations on Wall Street and Republicans force them on Main Street which is not fair. Get them both to stop being corrupt. |
