Did you think that by putting in your "two cents" here you were going to get an uproar of applause? Or some form of congratulations on your oh so insightful diatribe? Was this supposed to be witty.....or even halfway intelligent? Or was this just an affirmation of your plain and utter ignorance and stupidity put out in the open for everyone to see....you must be a sad and lonely person. Seeking out some sort of cheap laugh (which you didn't achieve here by the way) is just another measuring tool in the miles upon miles of nothingness your pathetic life has developed into isn't it?

Maybe I'm completely wrong here and I'm sure you'll tell me I am as you hide behind you're computer screen in your step-moms basement posting idiotic comments like this inbetween beat-off sessions to un-translated Hentai Films.

Good luck with all that.....

DEMOCRATS have drained the money, sucked our blood and plan on even more douche baggery... what 'good old boys' are you talking about?
get your facts straight.

I think this is going to be Obama's year. I like Obama because I don't think he is a member of the "good ol' boys" network that has been draining the nations money reserves these last few years.
I expect he will have a serious battle with the Washington cliques as he gives the country new direction, but as a minority, I expect he will be steadfast protecting individual rights, that have been eroded in the past.

There's about as much chance of that as my being a supporter of the McCainiac.

Hello...Hello ! anybody there ? is the Obama 'Internet War Room' offically open yet today ? Hello ?
Well, lets wake'em up !
Obama wants to be our President and control our government. Below are a few lines from Obama's books. These are passages in his OWN words:
From Dreams of My Father:'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father:'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against
my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father:'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father:'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty
to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father:'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own.
It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I had packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'
Hummmmmmmmmmmmm...me thinkest I wont vote for such a racist person...nope, not me. Obama is just too racial and extreme.
And how many of these "statements" of his did you take out of context ?

It's tuff defending the indefensible baggage obama has. Party, platform agenda, corruption, religion and all. I hope they pay you well....
Oh, they pay extremely well. In fact, I'm thinking of buying Topix. Then I can bar any comments that don't defend Obama's "indefensible baggage." You better start looking for another hobby.

Obama want to give Jimmy Carter a 2nd term.
.But Barack Obama, the student of Saul Alinksy, sees the necessity of reeling in those of faith, and making them part of the class struggle, while avoiding the harsher approach of demanding that the people give up their faith as a consequence of their commitment to revolutionary change. Americans have proven much more stubborn in the religious realm than the Europeans, who fell hook, line and sinker for Marx, Lenin and Stalin.
America might seem more amenable to the kind of Third Way socialism that Hitler brought to Germany, while cunningly using Christian jargon to wile his way into Aryan minds and hearts.
Black liberation theology, I have discovered (Read Part One here.), is yet another form of Third Way socialism, developed by Marxists seeking a way around the stubbornness of the ardently faithful, a way to hook folks on the revolution, without putting up a fight to eradicate their religion.
And Obama’s Chicago experiences seem to give him great hope that his cloak of religiosity will help to catapult him over the religious right and into the White House on the wings of liberation theology.…”

Excellent post! However, presenting facts to the McCain supporters doesn't work. They, like McCain, get confused and continue ranting about flag pins, whether Obama is Muslin or connected to a radical Christian minister or even an atheist (pick just one please people), the mysterious Michelle tape that they claim will surface, the "controversial" fist bump and on and on with the things that have no fact or merit. These are the types of people that get all their info from internet smear emails and Youtube clips. I agree with you..they are afraid of the truth; afraid even after the years of Civil Rights struggles, etc. they still are fearful of an educated, well-spoken, highly intelligent black man.
Before some of you try to make me out to be a bitter, short-sighted black person, let me make it clear..I'm a white female, just past middle age who has been an independent voter all my life. I've done my homework and it's clear who the superior candidate is..Obama.
Well said.

Conservative talk radio has recently increased its level of hateful attacks, trying to divide Americans for political purposes. I’m tired of hatefulness.
And so by your standards anyone that does not agree with the proposals of Obama must be guilty of "hate" and of course just like the NCLR among others you must throw Conservative Talk Radio in the mix......

I wouldn't send your rebate check to soon, if Obama gets elected you will need it.

I too have read that article awhile back and there was nothing misleading about the fact that mccaine wants to continue this war in iraq for as long as possible and that he doesnt care about bringing the troops home anytime soon.

Yeah, its no point in arguing with these people. They dodnt understand that the amount of money being spent now on a shitty system is more than what could be spent and acheive universal coverage. Most of the types on message boards who dont "want to pay" for universal health care are getting big tax refund checks anyway. The country is moving toward universal coverage anyway because those of us who DO pay taxes AND insurance premiums are going broke.Hey look it this way, all you Junior supply side wanna be's, after health care is universal and affordable, then all those small business owners your side is always invoking, wont have to pay a dime, then they can invest in their businesses, and maybe not have to hire so many illegal immigrants
Actually, I do not support universal health care and I pay into the government every year.

Apparently you have no problem letting the government control your health as long as you save money..........well some people don't feel that way.

BTW, you refer to small businesses saving money so they won't hire illegal immigrants.....what a ruse. They have been hiring them for years cash under the table with no benefits so don't you think they have saved enough money by now? Or do you think they enjoy the theft of American tax dollars by employing illegals and making their required social services the problem of the American people.

MEMO TO: Hillary '08 Supporters
We need to send a message to Howard Dean and the DNC for funnelling this election to Senator Obama.
Vote for McCain or Write-In Hillary in November....we may have to absorb a short term loss to gain in the longer run.....NAMELY....the Democratic Process can not, will not, be taken away from the people.
You people who are willing to sacrifice the well-being of the country because of some trumped-up beef with the DNC are repugnant. Hillary has urged her supporters to rally behind Obama. Yet you are too fine to do the same.

Now John McCain likes the ladies, but do you think he gives a hoot about feminism? Ha! The guy who reputedly called his wife a c--- in public? Imagine if Obama said such a thing. He would be crucified.

But McCain will get a pass.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
