I have an appointment next Mon and I was told th to bring a photo ID I have been going tosame officefor 38 yearsand they know yet they want to see a photo ID. I guess the Dems want you to have a photo ID to get heath care but not to vote. I wonder why that is????? Voter fraud????

When was the last time this old coot voted? What kind of I D did she use to get into the Hispital, or go for medical treatment paid for by the government? I bet she has some kind of photo identification. ACLU is using her, because she doesn't have a readily available birth certificate. If she wants to vote se can figure out how to get a photo ID.

Amen, Its called a 'red herring'? Barack Hussein Obama needs all the illegal votes he can muster. My 100 yr. old Mother has a photo ID. She is a life-long Chicago Demorat, but wouldn't vote for Barack Hussein Obama, if he gave her free food stamps? It all rests on his stance on Life?

....this is exactly why Washington DC is suing Texas right now over the voter ID law! He needs all the dead people and non citizens to vote in order to win!

It's a slanted play on the RACE CARD and protecting voter fraud avenues which both have been Hallmarks of the Dem party going back to the 1830s. The Dems cannot help it as it is in the Dem party's DNA.

This was a very biased article. Someone has an agenda, that's for sure. One thing bothers me, I live in DE and have had to show an ID every time I vote for years, but for some reason DE doesn't show up as a state that requires an ID. You have to have an ID just to buy allergy medicine anymore, to check into a hotel, to buy booze, to use a credit card around the holidays at least. The ACLU is wasting time and the states money, this issue was settled by the Supreme Court a few years ago. I think they are just like gnats, buzzing around and being a pest in the hopes that the states will just drop it due to the expense of litigation. For shame. What part about the states giving, for FREE, many with a free ride included, a picture ID to anyone who needs one? BTW - My elderly aunt, almost 90, has surrendered her license because she feels she's too old to drive safely, so I will make sure she has an ID to vote and drive her there if needed. Her younger sister who she lives with, only 88, still drives so she probably has a ride. Think about your relatives or neighbors, take them to get an ID if they need one. Thanks.

It just occurred to me, if it's Hispanics mostly who are disadvantaged, they HAVE to have a passport, how else do they get back and forth to see family in Mexico? Gotta have a passport to enter Mexico and to enter the US - Of course they may ONLY have a Mexican Passport, tsk, tsk, must not be legal and shouldn't be voting in the first place. Can't get SS or welfare without a picture ID either.
