Obama has small-check donor advantage over Romney

Full story: Reuters

It does not guarantee him re-election in November, but it is an advantage President Barack Obama is likely to carry into the fall: a broad base of supporters who have given him the symbolic vote of confidence with a donation of less than $200. Known as small donors, these people are personally invested in a candidate's march to becoming president, ... (more)

But Romney has the Chamber of Commerce laundering millions in foreign terror dollars to his campaign.

The Saudi owned Fox Ministry of Propaganda will be the biggest single donor as we all know.

I sure hope that's true. It would help counterbalance Mitt's personal and super-pac moolah. After Mitt gets drubbed in the election, he can go nuzzle up to his stashes in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands. What a patriot!

Right.

Never mind the millions of donations mentioned above.

Why is Romney allowing his superpacks to say all the things he won't say himself?

Romney's supporters are learning to put a muzzle on their man because he keeps manufacturing gaffes like Heinz does soups. Can't remember his last one, but look forward to his next for a good guffaw.

It is great to see so many patriotic Americans contributing to the Obama campaign; I am proud to be among the millions of people who have given money more than once (and will do so again next month) and with the great news on the economy last week more Americans will be send their hard earned money to support our Osama-killing President.

He is speaking from his heart.

Sadly.

And... sadly... he is the GOP's best hope... two seconds left... 60 yard kick... out trots Adam Vinatieri...

So true. Romney is absolutely entertaining. Let's see, here's a presidential candidate saying he's doesn't care for the poor because there are "safety nets in place". Really. What are those safety nets? He couldn't mean the big government he's been complaining about? And what candidate would say they don't care about the poor? Is that what they teach you in Moormon class? How compassionate is that? Every time Romney opens his mouth, the real Romney spills out and it's so hard to put him back together again. He's a total Humpty stuck on Dumbty.

Ds want to plug tax loopholes but, not campaign donation loopholes. Any contribution under 200 bucks needs not be reported to the election committee. Obama opted to turn down millions from the election committee to avoid spending limits restrictions and reporting requirements. He will still have nearly a billion to spend????

Statistics say less than 10% of Americans have ever contributed, yet Obama represents 95 million or all of his campaign contributions come from individuals.

Don't want to break your heart, but I have never before contributed to a Presidential election. But I did last election & I will do so again this year. And I am not alone. My friends & their checkbooks are expressing their complete disdain for what the GOP has become too. You folks are now paying not only for the Lee Atwater / Karl Rove style campaigns you have been running, but also for your disregard for our country in favor of corporate interests. We have money & we vote. As do our daughters.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
