The intent of Fast and Furious was to send weapons to Mexico so that the government could use the claim of American Guns going to Mexico is cause to reinstate the assault weapons ban...It had no intent to track the weapons, Federal Agents even stopped local law enforcement from making arrests and attempting to stop the flow of over 2000 weapons... There were no tracking devices in the weapons... The Mexican Government was not informed of the operation...
The program was simply to flood Mexico with traceable American weapons to cause crime that then could be pointed to as reason to tighten gun laws in the US..
This is why the President has claimed Executive Privilege because in those 80,000 records is the smoking gun that proves the President knew and approved creating a crime that has killed over 200 Mexican nationals and 2 US Agents....
And they continue to lie... They have said that it was a Bush Plan they they stopped... Fact.. the Bush Line Backer program placed tracking devices in each and every weapon, Told and notified the Mexican Authorities of Each one crossing the boarder... At one point the tracking devices were found and the program was Ended, 2 years before Fast and Furious was started... Over 1,500 arrests were made based on the tracking of the Line Backer Weapons... of the 1,400 weapon in Line Backer 1,250 were recovered and destroyed...
Fast and Furious had no tracking and to date the Only weapons recovered were the ones found after they were used in crimes and murders and to date there are still over 1,200 unaccounted for... Still killing people and will be for decades...More Americans and scores of Mexicans will die by weapons this admin allowed to cross the boarder and even helped in getting them across the boarder... Some Gun sellers were told to sell those guns in large quantity to people that would never have been able to do so... Gun dealers have testified to being told to sell them by DOJ agents when they refused to sell them...
America as a whole, Especially the Anti Gun Left should be outraged that an US administration would do this... It's a certainty that some of those guns have crossed back across the boarder into the US with the drug traffic and they will kill Americans on our very soil in the future...

The risk of electrocution by touching an EV involved in a crash or submerged is a myth perpetrated by the rightwing media. The high voltage system is completely isolated from the chassis, integrated safety systems as well as basic electrical theory, protect occupants and responders. Besides, these vehicles have integrated “shutdown-circuitry” in the event of a crash.
You keep batting your head against a brick wall. I believe a “three strikes, you’re out” policy seems more reasonable. I finally gave up on two of the “broadcasters” here (with a third one about ready to strike out) and it feels a lot better. I suspect it is the same few people who judge every post with which they disagree as spam, nuts and clueless. That’s little reward for efforts to engage them in a reasonable (as opposed to oppositional) discussion.

So they misspelled a word. Whoopee! How many have you misspelled in nearly every little one-liner you post? At least you are showing a little initiative by actually looking up the definition of "boarder" because we all know you didn't have a clue what it really meant. lol I'm sure you must be so excited to learn a new word and it's meaning, sisterboy. Good for you. Now you can add boarder to your vocabulary list that consists of...gd liar, demonrats and Q Tard. Before long you will be able to type a sentence and it could possibly make some sense!

Too bad most people don't even bother to read your stupid posts any more. I read them sisterboy. I get a kick out of you sisterboy because you make it so easy to ridicule your ignorant ass! You ole gd moron! LMMFAO!

Absolute hogwash, your ignorant drivel is so f-stupid it is beyond the pale. The ATF program was started by the Bush administration and halted by the Obama administration which completely negates your retarded conspiracy theory! The ATF sting operation gone wrong involved 2000 weapons, now compare this to the 29000+ of illegal weapons smuggled into Mexico annually based on updated ATF tracing data. Which turns your entire argument into dogshit you spineless idiot!

What are you the Energizer Bunny??

Yes they are isolated from the chasis as they come from the factory, But in an accident things can get pretty twisted and the possibility of the hot lead touching the frame is not out of the question..Hell the frame can even penetrate the battery..

If the hybrid vehicle is in an accident, it may be difficult for police and fire department to determine if the vehicle is safe to approach to save accident victims. Using the jaws of life in the wrong place could be deadly.

Since hybrid vehicles utilize a lot of electrical power, a malfunction could cause electric jolts of more than 500 volts, which can be fatal.

The battery pack of a hybrid since it is located in the back of the vehicle can be potential shock hazard as well as a hazardous material problem.

You ever been in a serious accident?? Things move and bend(ALOT)

I assure you I know about auto crashes and the affects they have on vehicles as I am an Auto Body Repair Technician..

Explain how this has any relation to safety training for such a new and evolving technology...
If an EV crashed into a pond (knee deep) will a first responder be aware of the real danger?
How many states and municipalities have this training program now?

... idiots.

Fast and Furious was not started by Bush. If you noticed, Obama runs away from answering any questions about that.

And, you ran away from this FACT:

Fact.. the Bush Line Backer program placed tracking devices in each and every weapon, Told and notified the Mexican Authorities of Each one crossing the boarder... At one point the tracking devices were found and the program was Ended, 2 years before Fast and Furious was started... Over 1,500 arrests were made based on the tracking of the Line Backer Weapons... of the 1,400 weapon in Line Backer 1,250 were recovered and destroyed...

Fast and Furious was Eric Holder using his position as Attorney General to smuggle enough weapons to the Mexican drug cartels to arm a regiment of drug smugglers. Now, Obama is blocking any investigation into this.
It's a good thing Obama is going to lose in a landslide in November. We can't take any more of this. It's just like when Carter was running for re-election. If Carter had won, we wouldn't be a country today. The same is true now.

Won't work with me!
The real danger: when H2O comes into contact with an EV’s batteries (the inner cells) the Nickel metal hydride will release hydrogen gas, guess what happens then?
The gas may directly cause dizziness and disorientation. If there is any spark…BOOM!

Great debate, but I have no intention of getting in the middle because I have not read anything much about the CV. But I do have one question if anybody knows.

How much is the insurance on this CV with full coverage? It has to be pretty steep.

I am not sure I do not understand some of your posts, but I want to say that by now we should not be dependent on automobiles with internal combustion engines. We should have developed EV technology to a level that it is practical and affordable. I believe we are not there already because our politicians have been accepting bribes from big oil. We are planning on starting to terraform and colonize on Mars within the next decade, so developing EV for cars would seem a less daunting task. Most problems are political and most politics are based on greed for power and money. Out politicians would serve us much better if we demanded much better.
