The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever.

Amen †

Was young Obama Indonesian citizen?

Document, travel suggest 'Barry Soetero' member of world's largest Muslim country

Obama arrived in Indonesia at about the age of five according to most accounts, although it was possible he arrived at the age of six, according to a few sources. If Lolo Soetoro adopted Obama at age five or younger, then Obama would automatically have become an Indonesian citizen according to the country’s laws in the 1960′s, which stipulated any child aged five or younger adopted by an Indonesian father is immediately granted Indonesian citizenship upon completion of the adoption process.

Lolo Soetoro could have adopted Obama in Hawaii, although such an adoption would not have necessarily been recognized by Indonesia.

Indonesian law at the time also did not recognize dual citizenship, meaning if Obama became Indonesian, then as far as that country was concerned, his U.S. citizenship was no longer recognized by Indonesia. But U.S. law would still recognize Obama as an American citizen.

'Ex-communist'– a term still in Obama's future

Exclusive: Jack Cashill points out BHO has yet to hear 'Moscow screams'

“There is one experience which most sincere ex-Communists share,” wrote Whittaker Chambers in his classic conversion narrative “Witness,” and that is the epiphany, the road-to-Damascus moment, the instant they realize the life they have been living is a lie.

Barack Obama has never heard those screams. He has written two books – or at least put his name on two books – and not hinted that he ever had anything like a Damascus moment.

His anti-Americanism runs too deep. When in Indonesia his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, asked his mom to meet some of “her own people” at the American oil company where he worked, she shouted at him,“They are not my people.”

The fact remains that, A Kenyan birth certificate presented by Lucas D. Smith, that has never been proven to be a fake or fraudulent birth certificate.
Opinions are like assholes, we all have one, but some are worth more than others, unfortunately yours are worth nothing to me.
YOU can believe Lucas D. Smith, the convicted felon who claims to have gone to Kenya and gotten Obama's birth certificate. But the fact that he has refused to show proof that he had even gone to Kenya is suspicious. Also, the alleged "birth certificate" used US date formats (month/day/year) and not the ones usually used in Kenya (day/month/year).

You, like other crazy birthers, can believe Lucas D. Smith, the convicted felon. Most rational people will believe the government of Kenya, which said that it checked on whether Obama was born there, and he wasn't. And most will believe the government of Hawaii, which says that Obama was in fact born in Hawaii, and that is confirmed by officials of both parties in Hawaii, and also by the Index Data and by the birth notices sent to the newspapers of Hawaii by the DOH of Hawaii in 1961.

Why Obama's going down in November

Exclusive: Erik Rush cites myriad factors pointing to solid Romney win
...

Despite this, I find myself more hopeful than ever with regard to Obama’s defeat, and the “juggernaut” as more of a foundering pirate ship. Yes, it was well-constructed, but it’s taking on water now, the captain is insane, and half the crew is blind drunk, leaving a few officers and frustrated sailors wondering what to do as they scurry about, firing wild cannon volleys in the general direction of the enemy.

Adoption either in Hawaii or in Indonesia requires the action of a district court, and no documents from such a court have ever been shown.

One reason that Indonesia did not make Obama a citizen of Indonesia, as you point out, is that it requires its naturalized citizens to give up their citizenship in their former countries. Well, that is impossible for a US child. A US child cannot give up US citizenship. That is the law. And even an adult has to do it IN WRITING with the document filed with the US government, in the case of an action abroad, in a consulate in that country. Well, of course, there is no such document.

Finally, if Obama were an Indonesian citizen, the Indonesian government would know about it. And, the way to find out if he was an Indonesian citizen, of course, is to ask the Indonesian government. It has an embassy in Washington and a press officer at that embassy. Well, Obama was never a citizen of Indonesia.

Now, what did we do in the mid-1970's during the Energy Crisis? We built the Trans-Alaskan Pipe Line!!! Started in 1974 under which president? Hint, it was not Jimmy "The White Peanut Man" Carter!!!
And what is Obama doing to help bring Canadian oil to American's market?

Is liberalism a mental disease?
Seriously

---
no, it actual takes 'critical thinking' skills, which cause mental disease in people who ask stupid questions like this one.

---
No it is not. Liberalism is acquired by critical thinking. Questions like this are asked by low intelligence people, who can only remember four word phases and jingos ("canned mantra") after hearing them repeatedly on talk radio, then repeating them in the form of a question.

Since there is no evidence that Obama was adopted, it is merely the words of birthers that he was adopted.

IF Obama had been adopted by Lolo Soetoro, his other children besides Maya (who was born to Obama's mother) would address Obama as "brother." But there is no evidence that they ever have.

Lolo Soetoro had two children after Maya: a son, Yusuf Aji Soetoro (born 1981) and daughter, Rahayu Nurmaida Soetoro (born 1987).

There has never been a report that they call Obama "brother."

Obama was not adopted. He was the step-son of Soetoro for a while, but the claim that he was adopted comes only from birthers.

Hard to show facts when there is nothing to compare them to. As in, sealed. No one comes to Topix for facts. Everyone knows it is a joke.

Fact is, you can't show one piece of concrete proof. So, exactly what facts do you claim to have? No articles, opinions, etc. Actual documents, other than the poorly created one (BC) that has been shown to be fake by document authentication experts. One must wonder just what facts you're talking about that others who "come" here (lmao) "need" to know. Hogwash.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Sagittarius

Don't be surprised if a member of the family is unpredictable or does things on the spur of the moment today. There's nothing to worry about because they won't do anything too alarming or disruptive. In fact, their actions will be like a breath of fresh air and they may even help you to escape from a current rut. So don't hesitate to be that little bit different yourself, either.
