Repeal the 16th and levy a sales tax only. People with more money buying expensive things pay more, opposite at the other end. Otherwise, it's all class warfare and social manipulation, plus stealing your income.

I thought it was a good speech, positive and very patriotic. I don't think the haters will even TRY to see outside their hate of him but still it was a good speech.

The republican response by Gov. Mitch Daniels was really good!

As far as that "at least 30% tax" on those making a million or more a year...so if the federal government keeps taking more and more, who's going to start businesses? Who's going to hire more people? Who's going to invest in businesses needing a boost? Who's going to give as much to charity?

Why, pray tell, is it ok for the government to take 1/3 of the money a wealthy person earns? It's like some legal form of theft or bribery...this person goes out and risks losing his capital or even sometimes his home or other assets, or borrows money to start a business, but if he's successful, then somehow the leaders of this government think they deserve a third of what he's earned?

Actually, the more I think about it, maybe all income taxes should be illegal!

I think your comment "energetic and very accretive as a kick off to his 2012 campaign…" is a perfect comment.

He doesn't give a damn about the state of the union, only running his campaign.

Usually it's the liberals who are full of hate. But by using a labeling term like "haters" is a good political strategy. When you can't win an argument, use labels to discredit your enemies.

They did that in Salem, long ago, and keep coming up with new ones. Way to carry on the tradition

LOL, your screeching must be causing the dogs on your street to howl to the sky… funny how you right-wingers have been attacking this President relentlessly and unfairly for the last three years but when this President brilliantly hits back you’re running around crying about him doing it, you’re pathetic.

I would vote in a retarded person over Obama perhaps they would spend less maybe they would not act like a crack head loose with a stolen credit card.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
