I'm still developing an understanding of what is meant by the term "troll". Correct me if I'm wrong (as if you could resist) but one daffynition is where someone posts something designed to evoke an emotional response ... such as your Holocaust remark followed closely by the insinuation that our justice system preferentially condemns black citizens.

My guess is that you receive a lot of responses from various people using such tactics. You can probably "get more comments to me then me you" that way. Normal people do not do this. That's why we are not known as "trolls". So "trolling" is kind of like fishing-for-arguments combined with a Tolkienian image of a hairy obnoxious creature who lives underground ... like in underground bunkers.

Again, borrowing from Middle Earth, people who battle trolls are not themselves TROLLS. We are heroes or at least "the good guys". Keep that in mind next time you get the urge to go fishing.
