thats how uninformed you are about our history and how you chose to believe what you want to believe. My father was born in 1923 on a plantation in Marion AL. his family were still working on the plantation. They may not have called it slavery, maybe you call it minimum wage making 1.50 a week for 16 hr days, but in the real world it was still an act of slavery. We didn't need to read Uncle Tom's Cabin we had the real story from my father. Did you think just because slavery was abolished that it was over. Black people didn't know anything but slavery most of them didn't have anything, or any where to go. Most of them couldn't read or write, didn't have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of. So they had no other choice but to stay in the shack that was provided by the master. When my father decided to leave the plantation, move from Marion to Birmingham for a supposedly better life. The master Sprotts tried to hinder him, by sayin he owed him years of rent for keeping the whole family in a one room shack for so many years. The sheriff made him stay there and work for Sprotts for a year without pay.I can go on and on with stories that Uncle Toms Cabin couldn't begin to tell you about, but this post is limited.

I did a little research this am....Post Aparthied South Africa.

Almost every family is on some form of welfare. They have various names for it, but overall the black south african standard of living went way down. Umm wonder what that tells us???I'll keep looking

Its pretty interesting reading. Just google black standard of living Africa. I cant seem to find any correlation of south Africa being a total welfare state today and slavery. So..todays south africans are poorer . Aparthied gave them a higher standard of living nationally than they have now with out it.Every south african is on some form of assistance. Ummmmmmmm

If you went to any current African country and asked the starving refugee victims of the corrupt black governments there, if they would like to exchange their labor for food and housing, you'd be trampled by volunteers.

If you went to the worst ghettos in any city in the US and asked the African Americans there if they would like to leave this country because of how corrupt they feel the government is towards them, and go to Africa, you'd be sucked off your feet by the vacuum left by the fleeing people.

There were signs up saying whites only, blacks only too but the people still did what they had to do and survived. the thing I don't understand is why you guys feel it was right to do these things or say these to a people who have never did anything wrong to you. why feel proud of that? I read this man was a good man to most whites until he decided to give back the original farmers their land back. I read that the population of whites living in Zimbabwe is only 1% but they own 85% of the farm land. I also read he wants to return that farm land back to the original owners but the british, the West are against it. so they gotta paint this picture of him being a mad monster like they did with Sadam Hussein who we never had dealings with only the government. Well I did learn that Zimbabwe is rich in gold, coal,nickel,copper,iron ore,etc. Africa is such a rich place too bad its not structured to rise above all ills of the land.
