Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama will continue to spar with one another, continue to demean each other right up to the democratic convention. Then after a brokered convention neither will be able to win, many of the non winners candidate will be PISSED off and not vote or cross party lines.
If that happens, hopefully, we will not have to worry about either socialists getting elected.

Based on statistics I am seeing the opposite is true. This extended bitter primary is motivating the Democrats like nothing else has. Many of the primaries are reporting record turnouts and registration in the Democratic party is way up. It also seems that many of these new Democrats aren't former independants but former Republicans who left the party last election because of Bush. It seems McCain isn't inspiring them to come back. While some Democrats will Vote for McCain, it seems to me, if for no other reason than his war stance, the rank and file Democrats will fall in behind whoever gets the nomination. Some won't for sure, but it is also true that many Republicans are claiming they won't vote for McCain and because of his positions on key conservative issues I believe them. The Democrats don't have that problem, while each camps supporters may bitterly hate the other sides candidate, in terms of issues the two are pretty similar and in the privacy of the ballot booth I believe all of those energized Democrats will vote for their party, even if they later claim they didn't.

The Democrats/DNC are butchering this election with this Elite Superdelegate system nonsense and disenfranchising Florida and Michigan's voters.
The lemmings in that party go along with this & say nothing.
Where's the outrage and leadership to fix these disasters?
It's shameful.
you mean howard dean ISN'T a strong, visionary leader??? the stripping of florida and michigan was as close to cutting off his nose to spite his face as i've EVER seen. how old IS dean? 6?

personally, i hope the democrat party stays dazed and confused, at least until the republicans can find someone to move into the future with (HOPEFULLY, MCCAIN'S VP).
you guys could not have picked a better time for a civil war ... thank you.

A pathological liar and a protege of a racist black preacher, and both of them socialists. What happened to the democrat party? Is it that rather than establish a set of principles and abide by them, they catered to every fringe group out there for so long that they lost sight of their purpose? Or has their purpose always been to bring about the downfall of the US? This is not the democrat party of my youth! I don't even recognize this party any longer. Extreme in every way, well out of the mainstream. And what do these two candidates offer us? With Hillary it's more of the lies, more of the sleaze, more of the drama for which the Clintons are famous. And Obama, the protege of a racist, who confers with Al Sharpton, one of the biggest race mongers out there, two to three times a week (by his own admission), offers us "change"; no details, just "change". Are the messages of his preacher, spiritual mentor, and close advisor, the reverend Wright, typical of the "change" he wants to bring us? He's defended his relationship with the guy (kind of akin to me bringing up my kids in the KKK, and then defending the organization) with flowery speaches and numbing oratory, but he sticks by the guy. He says his pastor's views don't have an impact. Well, is this why Michele, his wife, said that for the first time in her life she's proud of America, and that America is a cruel, mean country? No effect? What's this guy smoking? Both he and she were the recipients of special treatment...admission standards wavers, financial assistance, etc., to go to some of the best colleges in the country, but they refuse to even acknowledge this bending of the rules for them and still feel that this country is bad. And his preacher has had no influence on him or her? Again, I ask, what has this guy been smoking? And these two represent the cream of the crop in the democrat party? How sad!

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/video/150.aspx Jack Murtha, the most vile member of Congress; the man who falsely accused our soldiers of atrocities in Iraq, and even though proven wrong, stil refuses to aplogize? This is the man you're relying on for your endorsement of Hillary? Here's a perfect definition of Hillary:

"Imagine - if you can - not having a conscience, none at all, no feelings of guilt or remorse no matter what you do, no limiting sense of concern for the well-being of strangers, friends, or even family members. Imagine no struggles with shame, not a single one in your whole life, no matter what kind of selfish, lazy, harmful, or immoral action you had taken.

And pretend that the concept of responsibility is unknown to you, except as a burden others seem to accept without question, like gullible fools.

Now add to this strange fantasy the ability to conceal from other people that your psychological makeup is radically different from theirs. Since everyone simply assumes that conscience is universal among human beings, hiding the fact that you are conscience-free is nearly effortless.

You are not held back from any of your desires by guilt or shame, and you are never confronted by others for your cold-bloodedness. The ice water in your veins is so bizarre, so completely outside of their personal experience, that they seldom even guess at your condition.

In other words, you are completely free of internal restraints, and your unhampered liberty to do just as you please, with no pangs of conscience, is conveniently invisible to the world."

The whole article is at: http://www.cassiopaea.com/cassiopaea/psychopa...

And you support this woman? Are you so devoid of principles and morals that she seems normal to you? The woman who had to return $30,000 worth of White House belongings after she and Bill left and conveniently stole them? But, then, in the whole picture, I guess that was a very minor incident, huh? Probably a mistake, right? Like all the other lies (Bosnia....ever been shot at in combat? You don't "misremember" that!),
But, again, an oversight, I'm sure. And you believe anything this woman has to say? Just damn!

Superdelegates should vote for whoever they want! Kennedy and Kerry is, even though their state overwhelmingly voted for Hillary.

ALSO since FL and MI have no voice, ALL THE MORE REASON FOR SUPERDELEGATES TO USE THEIR JUDGEMENT!

Hillary gets our vote AND MONEY every time.

It used to be that nominees were determined at the convention. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. It is important that the Demorcratic party unify around a candidate as soon as possible so that the issues may be addressed rather than running out the clock trying to find fault in either camp. The registered Democrats pledging to vote for McCain if their candidate loses the nomination are being ridiculous - there just isn't that big a divide between Clinton and Obama. Both are for ending the war in Iraq, McCain is for perpetuating it. If you are planning to vote Republican based on the nomination of either Clinton or Obama
then you simply do not share the goals of the party.

It's shameful.
The "superdelegate" system was put in place a couple of decades ago to keep the rank and file party worker from having to compete for a delegate spot with a US Senator or Congressman or other major party leader. The intention was to keep the leadership in the convention, while actually giving MORE representation to the grass roots.

Keep in mind that most of the superdelegates are elected by someone, for Congress, or as state party head, so they are probably not going to do a lot to tick off the rank-and-file. In a state as competitive as Indiana, for example, our Congressional delegation is keeping their mouths shut about whom they support because the race is thought to be close. Except for Evan Bayh, who supports Hillary, because he wants to be her VP. Twenty-five members of the Indiana General Assembly just endorsed Obama however.

I don't have much use for Democrats, but I do almost feel bad for them. All this talk about pledged delegates and super delegates and nary a word about the voters themselves.
It's obvious that if Hillary can find a way to buy herself into the nomination she'll do so. Sorry popular vote, sorry who the pledged delegates are supposed to represent. Hillary only cares about Hillary, screw everyone else.
Then there is Barack. Michigan? Florida? No revotes, thank you anyway. It's not advantageous for me to care. Hope is the future, well, for some of you if it works for me.
If I lost my mind and did find myself a Democrat, I would be heading to the convention because there is going to be a lot of people getting screwed either way this goes, and it looks like it's going to be the Democratic voter.

The floating of a test strategy is a classic 'machine' maneuver.
The RNC is sitting back and waiting for the convention meltdown.

Obama said numerous times that he would agree to ANY fair solution that the DNC agreed to. Some people are totally ignoring that position, blaming him unfairly for a situation that he had nothing to do with.

Child of Ignorance - I'm 67 years old and in the first grade was taught you put your hand on your heart for the Pledge of Allegiance - Not the "Star Spangled Banner", which is what was going on when the picture was taken. Read everything about Obama and Clinton, and then make an intelligent decision - not one based on your being ignorant about what is going on. I'm really tired of hearing young people spout off about things they have no knowledge about!!! Your generation shows that many of you do not have a proper education. You make stupid comments without looking at the facts. If you don't want to vote for Obama, fine, it's a free country, but don't repeat something that was corrected in the media within a day of when it was first incorrectly reported.
