In my mind, there is no other choice for President than Mike Huckabee. He has executive experience (noone else does), great fresh ideas, Fair Tax, economy stimulas ideas, health plan, etc. He is a consistent conservative, never wavers in what he says. He has run the most honest, positive, energetic, issue focused campaign on practically no money that I have ever seen. He is a man of principle, character, gutsy determination. All qualities we need in the leader of our country.

RON PAUL is not a preacher...he is a Congressman & he is a Doctor...whose specialty is OB GYN. He has delivered over 4000 babies and is very PRO-LIFE.
He is anti big government. He is not greedy and self serving like the other candidates. He is a straight shooter and has been elected ten times. He has never wavered on his beliefs and always votes against unnecessary bills that would cost money.
He is the only congressman who has turned down the congressional pension plan for himself and he votes consistently against congressional pay raises. He will preserve our constitution as any one who has ever been president is sworn to do and too many have not!
My position on name calling is that those who have nothing better to do than call someone a slanderous name or who attempts to malign their intelligence is highly suspect to suffer with those very afflictions. Ron Paul is very intelligent and though he is a Christian, he does not wear his religious affiliation on his sleeve.
He is the only candidate that will have the where-with-all to beat either of the Dems.

Slight correction: Ron Paul is the only congressman who has refused the congressional pension plan that I know of personally!
He is the only candidate I know who wants to reduce friction & animosity by bringing all our military forces home so that when and IF another country gets a wild hair they want to attack us, then they can defend us from our country and U.S. territories and waters and certainly at our borders.
Removing our military bases from foreign soil would tell the world we do not consider ourselves the world police. The billions of dollars saved on this alone, would be a very big boost to the economy. If you doubters would just use your head and think about what this would mean. Try to see it from the viewpoint of other nations.

I like Alan Keys, for president he's running as a third party, he has more understanding on america than alll the canidates put together. never was he a congressmen. Please people look him up, he's an African American, a roman cathlic , he believe in forcing our immigration laws, building the fence, and a slow goverment retreat in Iraq, he also believes in our consitution of the USA....

Even though Bill finds dumb backwards women better in the sack, his understanding that only a smart, manly woman can get him back in the White House, reassures me that--although sex may rule their minds--men will rule the world. UMHMMMMMMMMMMMMM, that charm is some qood squishy!!!

How to conduct your own searches to learn more about Sen Obama (or any other candidate):

P.S From Athy- Folks-this material from this particular article is just the tip of the iceberg. Check out links I have provided to you about who he has chosen as his foreign policy advisors Brzenzsik & Dr Susan Rice). Go back and open your history books.
Ask what are these people doing on Obama's team?

Also,

ASK THE PEOPLE OF CHICAGO WHAT THEY THINK OF SEN. OBAMA.
Ask Chicago because that is where he lives and who he represents in the senate.

PLEASE READ articles posted in Chicago newspapers during past few years.

Google the name of the newspaper and add Barack Obama.
For example:
Chicago Tribune, Barack Obama,
Newspaper, person’s name, year you are looking at.

Do not stop there. Find out names of other newspapers and continue your search.

Do not forget to check background of the person who is writing the article too. There are many people who get paid to slander others and there are many people who are legitimate citizens, journalists, etc… Do the same for the publication that you are reading from. Don’t fall prey to propaganda.

Please pass this info to others- Have them verify it like we all did. Google terms in legislation , along with Sen Obama’s name. Also, check out these excellent websites:

Sen Obama,

I have many questions relating to your decisions and actions.
Refer to your legislative voting record-one of the reasons republicans and conservatives love you is because when one analyzes your voting record- one can see that you vote the same way they do.

You tell us what we want to hear. You motivate, inspire, move. You are passionate. You can mesmorize a crowd.

Yes everybody-even the progressives and liberals who are getting screwed by your voting record which hurts the middle class and the working poor-become mesmerized when you speak.

When we stop and think about it, AND ACTUALLY RESEARCH HOW YOU VOTED ON IMPORTANT ISSUES-
http://www.beyondchron.org/articles/The_Obama...
it dawns on us that while the govt or corporate interests were painfully screwing us-(facilitated by your knowing & willing legislative assistance) we had been so inspired and motivated by you-to the point that we had a great big smile on our face while the damage was being done to us.

I guess everyone has to make a trade-off sir.

You sacrificed our well-being in exchange for your political ambition.

If you are not concerned about the American citizen’s welfare then…why are you so ambitious?

Your choice of a foreign policy advisor (Brzenzski)-a man who supports our going after Iran (pre-emptively if necessary) and controlling the country, a man who many want to be brought up on charges (ALONG WITH HENRY KISSENGER) of being a war criminal.

Your choice of -Dr Susan Rice-who, as foreign policy advisor to Pres Bill Clinton neglected her professional duties and moral responsibility to properly investigate & face up to the facts, & then inform pres. Clinton and others to help the people of Rwanda who were getting slaughtered on her watch.

Ask her how many times she visited the African continent during that period.

This part of the globe was her major responsibility.

Your choice of David Axelrod as campaign strategist-a man who uses race baiting to help black candidates win elections, and then turns around and tries to get others crucified under false charges. It doesnt matter that he is hurting them, their family, their careers-no this is politics.

There are too many unanswered questions Sen Obama...and when reporters try to speak with you, you avoid them.

Who Is The Real Sen. Obama?

1- His choice of Zbigniew Brzezinski (person who at one time some have accused of being a war monger, who has written books on why the US should seek control of Iran if US wants to maintain its global primacy in Euroasia.
2- His choice of Dr Susan Rice as a foreign advisor-who as foreign policy advisor to Pres Bill Clinton totally neglected her professional duties and moral responsibility to properly investigate & face up to the facts, & then inform pres. Clinton and others to help the people of Rwanda who were getting slaughtered on her watch. Ask her how many times she visited the African continent during that period. This part of the globe was her major responsibility.

Dear fellow bloggers,

I sincerely apologize for all these messages.

There was no way I could get all this information out at one shot.

I am asking for anyone & everyone’s help here.

Please read what I have forwarded to you.If there is any fact that you can refute (or if you agree with something) please post a blog on this thread and include a source for your information and why you disagree or agree with fact.

There are too many questions about this candidate.

If this information is true then we should be outraged that a candidate for the office of US president has so many unanswered questions in his background and our media is doing nothing to help get answers. These are basic, simple Journalism 101 questions- how come the media didn’t ask Sen Obama basic questions about issues raised in this blog? It’s a glaring omission on their part to not do so.

Thanks to all of you out there in the blogosphere who posted your observations, source material (links to websites). To help us get to this point.

I repeat-

PLEASE-if there is any fact that you have even the slightest question about, please challenge it and explain why. Include your own source info (copy links if possible).
Post your remarks right here on this thread.
Forward a link to this thread to people you know and ask them to jump in the discussion and do the same-look for discrepancies.

A CITIZEN’S PLEA TO SUPERDELEGATES OR POTENTIAL MAJOR ENDORSERS
Dear Superdelegates and/or Potential major Endorsers,
I write this plea in case you are asked to step in the election process.
I am deeply concerned about the lack of political awareness shown by voters.
So many are completely uninformed and unaware of the types of legislation and votes cast by the candidate they are supporting for office. The loyal, trusting public has been deceived. Follow the money-follow the voting record (and what that vote is really saying). Sen Obama's voting record is very deceptive. I urge investigative journalists and/or anyone else who has desire to try to protect our democracy to please look closely at Sen Obama's voting record. The reason so many republicans and conservatives support him in spite of the fact that he is a democratic candidate is that – HE VOTES LIKE THEY DO-. He says one thing to all the progressives and liberals and dems but in matters where it really counts- he votes like a republican and/or conservative voter would. PLEASE -read this article and continue your questions from there-
http://www.beyondchron.org/articles/The_Obama...
Ask Obama supporters why they support Obama- ask them if they know anything about the deceptive nature of the votes he has cast. Voters who think that Sen Clinton will try to 'steal' the election by the use of Super delegates please note: Obama's campaign has given more than $698,200 to superdelegates from his political action committee, Hope Fund, or campaign committee since 2005. Clinton camp( HILLPAC) has distributed $205,500 to super delegates.
The Center for Responsive Politics has found that campaign contributions have been a generally reliable predictor of whose side a super delegate will take. For the sake of our democracy-I hope this is not the case. I urge ALL SUPER DELEGATES AND VOTERS TO PLEASE EVALUATE SEN OBAMA'S VOTING RECORD. Popular vote vs delegate vote? One of the purposes of Super delegate vote is to serve as an additional check and balance in our democracy. Even IF it turns out that popular vote supports Sen. Obama, delegates need to ask themselves- does Sen. Obama support the best interests of the popular vote-Obama does not vote in the best interest of progressives, democrats or liberals. I am afraid that too many of Sen Obama's supporters are truly uninformed because they have been misinformed about Sen Obama.
Sen Edwards, Sen Gore- if you are asked to step in and endorse a candidate, please analyze the candidate's voting record. Who best represents the interests of the popular vote? There is too much riding on this election. Please-follow your brain and your conscience. Do the right thing. If you choose to follow the popular vote-great. If democrats and progressives and liberals support Obama-ok but then take the next step by looking at Sen Obama's voting record. Ask yourself- does Sen Obama support the principles of the democratic party? Does he support the principles of the liberals and progressives where it counts-in his votes cast. Please- follow your reasoning abilities and your conscience. Do the right thing.
VOTERS, DELEGATES, INFLUENTAL ENDORSERS PLEASE READ ARTICLE http://www.beyondchron.org/articles/The_Obama... Follow how Sen. Obama cast his votes –did he vote like a democrat or progressive or liberal candidate would have? He tells voters that he will act one way and support certain legislation when he gets into office and then he does the opposite. The legislation presented in the article deals with VERY IMPORTANT issues that will have tremendous impact in the voters’ lives for a long time. http://www.capitaleye.org/inside.asp... -Who, if anyone, is more capable or likely of trying to buy Super delegate votes? Info in articles is accurate. Continue your search- google some more. Inform other voters to do same. Its not too late.
