Not complaining but.. It was a great victory for our guys against an always tough Big Ten rival like the Badgers and we can cherish the win as usual. But we have to face the fact that the tactic which seemed to work the best for us was to keep our offense off the field. And you have to admit there are "freshman" quarterbacks around the nation running top team offenses with much better "consistency" than the Buckeyes.

We have no offense. Pryor was overrated and has not produced. I was expecting a Vince Young type quarterback and he has underachieved. We are in trouble when we face Penn State, Iowa and Michigan at end of season. The Buckeyes have not quality receivers. Thank God for defense and special teams.

"I put my helmet in the same place all the time. It just disappeared." (T. Pryor) "I put my offensive line in the same place all of the time. It just disappeared." "I put my vision in the same place all of the time. It just disappeared." "I put my concentration in the same place all of the time. It just disappeared." Halfway through the season A LOT of things seem to be disappearing regarding Mr. Pryor and the Ohio State offense!

We need Pryor to stop thinking and just react. Then we will be fine

I agree OSU needs to find a passing game that can carry us when the running game gtes stalled, and a running game more consistent to control the clock and time of possession. But as a long time Chicago Bears fan, I'm used to seeing my defense and special teams carry the offense. All the Bears used to ask of the quarterback was to not screw things up for the defense too much. I still think Mr. Pryor is probably the most talented quarterback OSU has ever had, and will be a major factor in "getting us over that little hump," another national title. We all want instant perfection, but IS getting better, and his top end will be very, very special. I'm not talking about his speed, but his work ethic and approach to the game. A talented team player who works hard and stays out of trouble? We're lucky.

pryor has regressed not only in his pasing but in his ability to react to defenses. he had time on a number of occasions and could not find a reciever open. wisconsin was the lowest ranked team in the big ten on pass defense. what does that tell you?

I'd say it's time time for a new quarterback but who's behind Pryor...Is it to late to bring back Todd Boeckman?

Tressel is too stubborn to make change. The only reason Troy Smith got a chance is because Zwick got hurt. Every OSU insider was saying TS looked much better in practice than JZ but Tressel stuck with his boy, just like he does with the Jim's & his Youngstown Connection. He still refused to let Troy win the 05' Texas game because he wanted Zwick even though Troy got them their only TD. If Zwick never got hurt he would've been Todd Boeckman before TB, had a 9-3 2006 season, & have never heard of Troy Smith. Unfortunately, there is no Troy Smith on this team. All of our eggs are in Terrelle's basket. Bauserman looks like a JV player, so we better pray TP doesn't get hurt. I hope most teams manage to keep the ball for 45 minutes so our offense can't screw up the outcome.

"..guard Justin Boren said. "I don't want to say you get bored, but you do." Pryor sat so long, he misplaced his helmet. He played the rest of the game wearing cornerback Devon Torrence's helmet. "I put my helmet in the same place all the time. It just disappeared," he said. Wow, that speaks volumes about why the offense stinks as bad as a Port-O-Potty at a Chili Cookoff. Instead of being focused, talking about the next drive, getting pumped up, talking to the Offensive coaches about what they are not executing, Justin Boren is bored and TP loses his helmet. Remember what TP said after the 2nd-half debacle against Navy..."we kind of chilled I guess". Finally, some consistency from the offense, as in a lazy mentality. You don't deserve to play on the same field as your defense. Hey TP, where are your leadership skills? Oh, you probably misplaced those too. My only wish is that they could take Buckeye stickers away from the Offense.
