Holiday's play for UCLA in question

Many years ago SI featured a front cover article, "THE BRUINS IN RUINS" They could very well run it again. How is it that UCLA has what is supposed to be the finest freshman class in the country and yet where is that talent? Holiday has been very disappointing and the others almost non-existent. Collison and Shipp have not lived up to their press clippings as well. The only bright spot has been Alfred Aboya. Having watched the Bruins forever, and Howland's tenure this is my overview. Basically, he does not trust his players and as a result they don't trust themselves. His substitution scheme reminds me of the Lavin days when you never knew who was on the floor. To allow a mediocre player, who will probably end up selling insurance next year, come into your home court and score 33 is outrageous. They have lost games this year where Howland was just out coached. In the Big Dance, they will be lucky to get to the second round.

Ben sure could have used a Timeout at the end of the game, poor time out management
