Even "if" the Aggies make it to the WAC tourney, and that's a mighty big "if", they'll no doubt be the lowest seed. This of course means they’ll draw the top seed and it will be over for the Aggies, and then Rocky can start working on next year’s “patsy” first half schedule!

In response to the three whining maggots who commented before me....

1. Ever hear of deadlines? It happens in the newspaper business. What a stupid comment.

2. What a cheap shot.

3. So, do you want NMSU to schedule nothing but powerhouses? And if they lose to those teams you'll be complaining about the won-lost record. Get a life.

1. it's an online article, can be updated easily
at any time. if the effort is there.
2. it's only a cheap shot if it is not the truth.
3. it would be much better to lose to a powerhouse than to beat a wimp. at least you get a realistic picture of where your team falls in the big scheme of things.

Hey, Jerk Off...I got your opinion and its hanging out of your mouth!

The only Powerhouses they face are in the WAC, if you want to call any of them powerhouses. Rocky needs to put together a balanced schedule of teams prior to conference play, so he can evaluate the team’s shortcomings and fix them accordingly.

Not string together a bunch of "patsy" teams in the first half of the season so as to appear the team is a winner…it just makes him look bad and the team as well…he needs to go!

Most, if not all of the other NSMU Sports teams have had new coaches, time for a change…the only reason Rocky is still around is because of his old man.

The ags need one more win and they're in the wac tourney. Why does Ward pull a relief pitcher after 2/3 of an inning when they are doing good, but lets the starters get blasted? I'll be at the 6 o'clock tonight. And to the ones who hate everything about the aggies, las cruces or new mexico in general, why don't you just MOVE? I guarantee it's not something about here you hate, you may have to leave to figure that out.

You fit in one of the following categories:

1. You played for Rocky and got kicked off the team for smoking pot and because you were nowhere near as good as you thought you were, or you're the father of the person that did so; or you're still mad because Rocky never offered you (or your son) a scholarship when you did deserve one.

2. You're a mean spirited person who complains about everything. You never go to any of the games, you never buy a ticket and never donate to the program. You just bitch.

3. Your name is Elliot Avent.

4. All of the above.

I dont think they hate everything about the Aggies. I think they hate everything about Ward and you can't blame them. The Aggies do have a patsy schedule in the early season. You your self esok are questioning Rocky Wards decisions and rightfully so. That's a lagitimate question. You know if the starters are going to work out of it or not.
Everybody knows that the better teams you play the better you get. Yeah you take your lumps but thats part of it. The Aggies are to inconsistent to win a championship. I say it's from inconsistent coaching for one.

None of the above...but all of the above is bullsh*t...

I donated many years to Aggie Baseball, when the ball players sold 50-50 tickets in the parking lot while tailgating at Aggie football games. I went to many of the Aggies baseball games...I've been there "PAL"...Rocky has had his chance; it's time for him to move on, just like the past football and basketball coaches at NMSU.

What makes him so special...his dad, maybe? I can’t think of any other coach (men’s) at NMSU with his tenure without being a winner and still have his job. Both, Rocky and Boston need to be booted, period!

You call giving a couple of dollars a donation? I come from a city where people "donate" thousands sometimes millions to the University, there is enough money to get a legit AD and/or coaches in the athletic department. People like YOU are the reason why there is no funding, which means a half azz administration. You think that giving a few bucks will make a difference? You act like you are some huge contributor, so you think you can comment and make all the shots?

People like YOU are the reason Boston is still there. You think buying 50/50 tickets for a dollar each will give enough money to the administration to get Boston out of there? You think you are on a high horse because you gave an extra 5 bucks out of your pocket so that makes you an athletic donator? You are full of it man. I have no arguement about the season they are having, but you need stop commenting like you are the one giving all this money to the program and getting nothing in return. You want something to change? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Donate real money. That's what I do because I am a REAL contributor and understand what that means because I work close with the University of Texas athletic program and understand how they are successful.

This is a re-building year for Rocky. I am not going to back up his schedule, but if it is so easy to win because you think playing top 25 teams every weekend makes you better, you coach and see how long you last not winning ONE pre-season game.

Give me a break with your comments. I give more money each year to an athletic that provided me my college education and an expereince than you ever have buying 50/50 tickets. Go back to your tiny 1 bedroom apartment and continue to donate $1 at a time thinking you are making a difference. Talk to me when you can play and pay likethe big boys Huntsville.

Real Alum, SO does your donations go to Aggie baseball? If it does you should be pissed at your return. Us little people are the ones buying the tickets. If we don't like what we see we don't buy! The University of Texas wins because they have money, the ad, the talent , AND the COACH. Rocky's far from being anywhere close to his calliber and you know it.
So shut up you arrigant piece of cr--. Just because someone didnt play for Rocky ward doesnt mean they dont know what they're talking about.

I've been wondering when you were going to to chime in, chump...I see you are using a different moniker though!

You can spew all the statistics and how much I should donate to the program you want, the fact remains, Rocky needs to go!

If I remember right, you told me you're a former Aggie player who now makes big bucks as a lobbyist, well lobby your azz off for your ol alma matter and get them the big bucks… bsb alum! Help them replace Boston instead of spewing bullsh*t...just because you're a Rocky lover (maybe you blow him, don’t know or care) but that doesn’t mean he's still the best choice as coach...time for him to go!

Remember, donate bsb alum, donate...!

No, my money goes to the administration. If you did contribute to making the dept better, you would know you can't contribute to a spacific program. I like how you both tell me to donate so we can get Boston out of there and stop spewing BS when you are giving dollars at a time and lean on people like me to do the job. If you want Boston out so bad, why don't you both join me in donating real money to get him gone? That is how it works, but no one will nut up with me. They are too busy crying about it on a topics page.

I never said that I am a Rocky lover. There are some things I disagree with just like anyone else. If you want a difference in the program, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! But of course you won't. You are the ones spewing BS and doing absolutely nothing about it. If there is no caucus to make a difference in the NMSU athletic department, then you will be sitting in your chair, bi*tching about it for years to come.

And 3cvs, when you can set school and WAC records like I did, then you can make comments to me. Until then, little people like you need to shut your mouth and do something about what you do not like to make a change.
