Well it's nice to see the agriculture school finally win a bowl game even if it's against a crappola team.

In 10 years 47% will be retiring from a career in pro football. That's an actully statistic for the team. Some may be in prison for excessive awesomeness

Hey simpleton,

Name one other college football team thus far in 2009 that has had a tougher schedule than VT. Name any other team you feel should be ranked higher than VT at #6, then I'll tell you why your wrong. I'll be happy to bury you with facts that you can't negate with your ignorant opinions, if you'd like........

Striving in vane to find a magic combination of key strokes will not prevent the VPI football program from achieving it's unavoidable fate of losing to some unranked opponent late in the season. I hope they are 10-1 going into the UVa game. The inevitable implosion at that point would be most memorable, but a loss to East Carolina would be special too.

Overrated, Chokies, ect. whatever un-clever moniker you choose to use this time, you've proven yourself to be nothing short of a football knowledge void! You've been run over a few times on the other VT thread, give it up already. It's funny that people see fit to hate a particular team instead of just cheering for another one, really shows how simple you are! Thanks for sharing......

The team actually hasn't done anything this year to merit personal contempt such as, hmmm, stomping on the back of an opponent's leg when he was lying on the ground after a play. I must say, however, that I did no see what happened in the Alabama game when Mcclain got flagged for some extra-curricular activity after Taylor got sacked for a 14 yd loss, so I can only assume that your team is still up to the same old tricks.
It's the VPI fans that reflect negatively on the entire Commonwealth of Virginia and for that they attract the ire and disrespect of their fellow Virginians.

No it's just you and other UVA hopefuls. Actually the majority of the commonwealth supports the only good football team in VA! Right now you UVA fans should focus your attention on the only thing available to hang your hats on, that being womens feild hockey! They play for the championship friday night! I know it ain't much, but it's all you got bud! Heck you may as well suit up the girls in pads and send them on the gridiron too, couldn't hurt!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
