Its good to see a little fight in this team. If McCamey keeps playing at this level like he did during the BTT, I think this team could be tourney bound.
All I want is a reason to watch, and this year the Illini give me that.
Illinois beats Vanderbilt on the road
Demetri McCamey emerged from Illinois coach Bruce Weber's doghouse Thursday night to make his first start of the season and he gave a blue-ribbon performance.

You are correct in your comments. No one is giving this team a chance and many were ready to bail on Weber. A tourney appearance will be great, but I will take an NIT as well. With an outstanding class coming in next year and the young starters getting valuable experience and playing time this year, we all will have a chance to wear the orange and blue with pride once again.
