All this proves is that Coach Price got out played by a freshman quarterback who could do no better than Tulane University for his college scholarship choices.

I miss the days when the freshman quarterback who beat UTEP were named Ty Detmer.

Well, if there's any consistency in the UTEP world, they orter win against SMU, since all the poles (and czechs, too! And all them turks) say they're gonna lose.

End of the line coach, you need to be replaced, and take all your staff with you. Maybe NMSU or UNM will have you.

Great excuse coach. If you even deserved to be called that. I will be the UTEP fan at the SMU game with the paper bag over his head. The only reason is that I am attending is that nobody wants to give me a loaf of bread, or canned good for my ticktes.

Proud UTEP graduate, not proud of this year's football team (including coaches), what the heck is wrong with you all, no leadership, no drive, no desire to represent UTEP and El Paso! You are losing supporters left and right with your excuses for lackluster play, replace the players who are not performing, what have you got to lose, you already are losing to very weak teams.

typical Utep football situation with ususal characters. Thought Price was that over the looser hump coach. Defense sucks, offense drops passes. Hell its back to 19th century football.

i think it's time to go away from the 3-3-5, we just don't have the staff to support that type of D.

I agree, was at the Tulane game one of the two guys that were at the 50 yard line mid level seats that were great. Wish I had had those seats for the Saints game. The offense was not bad, defense lost the game, did not have any......

It's time that Diana Natalicio opens up the pocket book and spends some money on the athletic budget for UTEP. This University represents El Paso and when we have a quality program to cheer for the city shows up and fills up the stands. There is no reason or excuse for us not to spend money on a coaching staff that will recruit winners and take the football program to the level that is worthy of 22,000 students and an entire city behind it!

The man does not take his job serious.
He threw away millions of dollars at a school that is considered football royalty, for a wild night of partying at a strip club. What makes the utep administration think that he is taking his job serious now.

I can’t believe SMU gets a new coach and their program has made a huge turn around. SMU’s coach is from Hawaii. Price is a coach that was supposed to take the job at Alabama! Price is supposed to be a big gun in College Football. I guess it was a blessing in disguise for Alabama that Price got in trouble because he would have done nothing for them either. How can he coach discipline if he has none for himself? I will always love UTEP Football... but right now, I am tired of defending them.

We have heard this every single year....We get all excited, and then we see nothing has changed. Because all of these players are all pumped to play college football, then they throw on the Miners uniforms and something happens.... They don’t believe they can win. They don’t believe they are winners. I don’t understand it. 1 good player is not going to win games.

I LOOK AT THE UTEP GAMES EVERY WEEK & PRICE DID A HORRIBLE JOB BY BRINGING THIS DEFENSIVE SCHEME TO UTEP IT WORKED AT NEW MEXICO FOR A BIT ONLY BECAUSE MANY PROGRAMS DONT RUN IT, AND CONFUSUED THEM FOR A BIT BUT NOT ANY MORE IT'S A SEVEN ON SEVEN DEFENSE AND IT GETS TORCHED EVERY WEEK. THE OFFENSE IS SCORING BUT THE WIDEOUTS TEND TO DROP ALOT OF OF BALLS TOO. i HONESTLY THINK THIS DEFENSE JUST DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
