I don't think I have ever been so scared or nervous in my life. It was a week before my cinema midterm and the realization hit me that I knew absolutely nothing about cinema or making movies! Pretty much everything I learned in lecture and discussion had gone in one ear and out the other.

The most important thing college taught me was the depth of what I don't know. People's opinions seem so silly when you realize their knowledge of something is naive. By the way, did you know "naive" is not in the dictionary?
