I was absolutely amazed at the "High School" play of the Trojans Saturday,(Not a good HS team at that!) Pete Carrol has consistently fielded excellent teams. What in the world has
happened? He did loose several of his best assistants this year. Were they the only
ones who could call successful plays? Surely there must be someone there who knows
what they are doing. Amazing and sad.
SC grad. and love football. Love the Trojans. Sad, sad!!

You can make all the excuses you want, they got beat by a much better and faster team. It was so clear they ran out off gas. That big safety of usc what joke. only hits he makes are late and cheap.

SC just don't have the talent they had on defense from the last several years. They miss Cushing and Mathews who are both starting now in the NFL. The guys they put in there to replace them aren't getting it done. The defensive line is not getting off blocks, they are slow. Some of it is coaching, a lot of it has to do with talent and heart.
