UCLA: The heat is a factor

Full story: The Press-Enterprise

As temperatures soared to 106 degrees and maybe even beyond Monday on the Cal State San Bernardino practice fields, some UCLA Bruins found themselves overcome by the heat.

I am not sure I agree with this decision on practicing in the soaring, smoggy, Inland Empire heat. But one thing will play out, thoses who survive will be ready to play in any conditions!

Go Bruins!

Yeah but what may survie will only be enough to allow your (B)ruin team to appear in a 8 man flag league! HaHa

Seriously, though, what was the thought process behind doing this?

I would have thought if they wanted a 100 yard practice field they could have picked a local HS field near Westwood. I will take a nice 80 degree sea breeze day over 106 and smoggy any day!

But I will say from what I have seen and heard of Mora, he is showing college kids how to play like the professionals. Hope it translates into something good this season!

The (B)ruins are in such a desperate mode, they will try anything now to attempt to be relevant again...

The math department has developed a model for Bruin sucess:
The heat of the meat plus the mass of the ass
universally proportioned
is the angle of the dangle

That makes perfectly good common sense my Bruin brother, but we have to admit we haven't shown much of that or anything else in recent years :/

Go Bruins, please!

Well Mister CPEM, the conceptual idea here is that because my Bruins have been under heat for so many seasons now, that the literal consciousness of actually experiencing it in body as well as mind may challenge our lack of fortitude

Go Bruins, please!!!

Even though you were probably stating your inadvertent comments only get a rise, I believe you unintentionally stumbled onto a "direct hit" with your eccentric analysis. See, told you to stick to the subject matter and omit the trolling. Maybe more of your fellow (B)ruins SHOULD listen to you! HaHa

Mora Jr has much more pressure then people think to try and remake a team that has been an afterthought since the late 90s. It is hard for coaches to go for the NFL to college level and be a success. Probably can count them on one finger... say like Pete Carroll!!!

You have not been to one of our practices so you really can't say if you see a difference in this team. I have, and do!!!

Save your brother talk for fellow TrOJie trolls who must have an underlying fear about us Bruins to actually take the time to try and slander us!

I was thinking of going to one of our practices, but when they said it was held out in that forbidden place called San Bernardino, I knew it might ruin my Bruin complexion.

That would mean more time needed in the hot tub. You coming this friday? It should be really fun as I think we may even be sporting a winning record at this one after getting by Rice-a-roni :)

Go Bruins, Play Fair!
