Greg is the slowest reacting offensive coordinator ever. Texas has been burnt by his stubbornness and will continue to falter down the line until someone like Vine Young comes back to run his offense.

Davis needs to get the boot. How the hell can you have a running back like Charles but insist on passing the ball 90% of the plays. That's stupid.

He plays "not to lose", instead of "to win". That's just not the way you get to the tilte game. It is the way to pad your own stats and keep your job. What happened to using the QB as a run threat so as to mazimize the "zone read Off? I hate that Offense, but if you run it, run it with all your heart!

Signed! Even if the lack of innovation in play calling for extended period of time is forgivable, not understanding clock management in big games is too fundamental to be.

May I offer a compromise? Lock Davis in a closet during the games and let Major call the plays. Davis' offenses are more than adequate, but his play calling is extremely poor on game day.

How may times are we going to run the short pass out in the flat that gets picked off? Everybody we play has studied it and prepares to jump it. Can we please fake and go up field?

If I can see the poor play calling, what do you think the opposition defensive coordinator is doing? He is preparing to eat us for lunch.

Greg Davis has got to go. He is inflexable slow, slow, slow to change. I'm not sure if he even considers what the other team is doing. It's like he has a hand full of plays before a game and that's all he can handle. Nebraska proved that.

Greg Davis has gotta go. It's a shame because we have good running backs running all the wrong plays? How many times are they going to keep running the east/west delayed option running play for no yardage? Every time they establish no running yardage like normal Davis abandons the running game completely? Then as we have seen time & time again McCoy not able to complete passes with top defenses all over him? It also leads to poor decisions by McCoy forcing the ball into coverage. If Greg Davis continues with this offensive game plan Texas will take a serious beating by 'Bama. New offensive plan: Run Newton & Johnston north/south out of the eye formation so they can get through holes why there open? Mix in play action, short screens, short passes over the middle, wide out passes to RB's and QB draws. McCoy must deliver the ball quickly all game or he will get pounded. Must have running game to compete!
