If Pastner had it his way,the Tigers would prefer to play local middle school teams as warmup for CUSA play. With all the talk of ''Big East needs Memphis, more than Memphis needs The Big East, why would CJP want to schedule a potential loss....annually.Heres a newsflash from a fan of another conference....Tennesee with new coach Cuonzo Martin are on the way up.....Memphis...not so much. The Tiger PR machine is busy spinning its BS about ''quality wins'' over Belmont and Robert Morris...as well it should. Heading into Conference play, the Tigers are FINALLY breathing easier, as not ONE team in the conference is ranked...jeepers Wally, think theyll survive that run? YEP...AND theyll cap it off with a CUSA championship and a good seed in the tourney.....yeah Memphis!!!!!!! J...O....K...E

Is Pastner perfect? No
Is Memphis athletic department perfect? Far from it
Sure we've had some bumps early this season but if you had any clue about this particular Tigers team you would know that the one thing this team needs right now is
CONFIDENCE. So as awkward as this may sound the conference schedule is just what the doctor ordered. So many preseason expectations were placed on these young men who were still trying to figure out their roles. With the recent lineup changes Pastner has found a rotation that plays together (ask UT) Give them a chance, check back in a month when we play Xavier.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Gemini

A little give and take goes a long way, so try to be flexible and malleable when dealing with others. It will also pay to ask people what they think rather than to make sweeping assumptions on their behalf, because you could be in for a surprise. A child may have some interesting information for you, or they could make a statement that really sets you thinking.
