C'mon, your reporting skills have to be better than this big guy. Vols lost. Half way through you say that "A trio led the Vols past Arkansas Saturday night at Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum." Then, to top that you end the article with "only about 2,000 witnessed their latest victory against the Razorbacks."

No one proofs your stories or was your brain having the runs or what???

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that's the first time that I've ever seen a coach engage a player like Pelfrey did Jajuan Smith. One would think the coach would have more maturity than that. And after Jajuan made the 3 pointer, I read Pelfrey's lips to say "Shut the f up"! I think Bruce Pearl and the officials should have a word with Coach Pelfrey over that.
I'm sorry they lost tonight but they really didn't play good defense. Thomas had a free hand all night.
You can't win them all. I am still very proud of how well they have played this year.

Well I don't find it good sportsmanship when the coach for Ark. cusses one of our players on live television while the refs' backs are turned.
Some of us can lip-read; and while we were outraged at the way Bobby Knight treated his players....cursing another team's player while the game is IN PLAY...is bad form...he had already incurred his for TF and I think if the ref's had caught him he'd been thrown out at the very most.

As for Coach Pearl; he's done wonders for our team...one loss..no matter how, where, who is played is not reason for firing unless he sat there and let the other team run up the score and he didn't give the team direction. We lost by 1...ONE point AT THE BUZZER!!!!

If you're a true fan; even though it shows a "L" in the column, you'd see that we did a dang fine job at playing, esp. after the change of venue because of the damage to the GA Dome last nite.

GO VOLS!!! Great job!!! Thank you for the hard work!!!

He's the first coach in UT history to ever lead the men's basketball team to a #1 ranking. I think making it to the playoffs is a little better than mediocrity. Hmm, I have an idea. Why don't you come to Knoxville and replace him? I'm sure you have the credentials. I'm sure you've been coaching NCAA basketball for at least 10 years, right? And I'm sure you've won several conference titles...maybe even a national championship or two.
Next time, why don't you think before making such a stupid comment?

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
