Couldn't agree with you more. Lunacy. They need someone to fill it up. Not more passers.

What planet are you from? On Earth, not all draft picks work out. Rubio has a high chance of being a bust but they couldn't pass up on the opportunity. I hope they keep them both.

Powers could you at least do a google search before writing a column? the 6'2'' 175lb Bobby Brown is a 2 guard? I get that your deal is to be Mr. Cloudy Day, but making clumsy statements like putting Bobby B at the 2 make you sound like a boob rather than a clever analyst with the wit to put yourself above the efforts of the home town team.
I'm sure if the wolves wold have taken Curry you would have pounded them for taking a young/soft Euro and a tweener.

Curry is a skinnier Randy Foye. Besides, not all great college shooters/scorers go on to great NBA careers, i.e. JJ Reddick, Adam Morrison, and Big Dog Glen Robinson.

Just when I thought we had a chance to have a proper draft after our "great coach/ old SH** GM", was given the boot", we grab two point guards back to back. Why wasn't Kevin fired when the Joe Smith sanctions happened? How do you think Minnesotans really feels about McHale? I guess we have enough outside shooting, even though we traded Mike Miller; however, we still have Cory Brewer, LOL. Why couldn't we grab Curry? Are they afraid if we get a decent team we might be out of the lottery? Honestly I would rather have Lawson then Flin. B.J Mullens was prime for the picking at 18. I know that he is not anything special; however, who do we have at center? Just another year at putting Al Jefferson in a position where he shouldn't be. I wonder if big Al will re-sign with us, HA HA. I wish Glen Taylor could get his head out of his A** and sell the team to an owner who has a basketball IQ higher than Forest Gump. Get ready for another decade with a GM who can't spell basketball and the STUPIDEST owner in professional sports. Glen Taylor makes Al Davis's drafting ability look good. Passing on Crabtree doesn’t look as bad as the moves the Wolves have made in the draft. It would be sooooo much easier if I was a fair weather fan. At least I have the best running back in the NFL or I would have to burn my TV.

It'll be interesting. I'm willing to bet Ricky Rubio never plays a second as a MIN TWOLVE this upcoming season.

I really like both players, and I'm in love with Curry too, but he is also a point guard.

There really wasn't a right pick after Rubio.

We had NO intentions of being able to get him at 5, and really the way the rookie contracts shape up, he'd be playing for free next year. THere is a scale, so its not like the wolves can give him 8 mill more next year (or that they could afford to.)

So expect Rubio to stay in Europe. Its crummy, but its not like he doesn;t still have great desire to play here. In that time he'll become accustomed to us, and maybe we'll be able to trade him for a very good asset if he continues to grow and Flynn and Ellington work out.

Having talent isn't an issue. You can play with guys at the same position if they're all talented.

Its nothing to freak out over. It'd kinda be nice to have Mayo instead of Love right now, but oh well. Kev is a nice player.

It'll all work out Wolves fans, the dark cloud of McHale is gone.

Try to have a little faith.

Curry wanted to play in New York, Why draft another Marbury, who would just pout until he got traded. Sounds Like Rubio might be in this league also. He was heard crying about the cold.

Where is the much needed center? Oh, he is still in Europe playing for maybe another year or two. For now, KLove and Big Al you will play a position you shouldn't be playing.
The more I hear Ricky, the more I do not want him here but man, he has talent.

Kahn is an idiot - an egotistical idiot who was like the 10th option on the list for GM - they should have pursued No. 11.

There is no magic draft recipe for instant success in professional sports... it's always a crap shoot.

My .02, I like the picks. I was surprised, but I think J Flynn and Rubio could be very nice building blocks for the future, and I think they'll compliment each other nicely.

Curry IMO is just too skinny/fragile.

I also think that this is just the tip of the iceberg to Khan's master plan as far as the team is concerned. The roster still has A LOT of dead weight.

You wait and see, shipping out Foye and Miller was only the beginning of the overall makeover project.

People seriously. All everyone does is complain no matter what teams do. I really don't think anyone is giving credit to the wolves that they actually deserve, for once. After harden was taken at number 3 we were guarenteed either rubio or evans. Then we ended up with rubio and everyone knew how impressed with jonny flynn our staff was so thats realy not a surprise. I was kinda hoping theyd take curry with the 6th pick too but i am not in any way ashamed of getting flynn. After all curry is another pg anyways. Then they passed on mullens because he needs so much work to become an effective C that al is a much better option. We are in the rebuilding process and as most minnesota teams are we not known for bringing in the big stars. But we make do with what we have. It's going to take time and by making the lawson trade we have more options for next year. This isn't going to happen overnight, we need a few years of drafts free agency pick up and trades.

The draft was heavy with point guards. If they weren't sure about Rubio being able to play, they could have had a decent point guard with pick 18 - which they did. There were still others on the board, too. I think that passing on Curry was a huge mistake - especially when you know that Big Al is going to get doubled. Kick out to Curry for 3 creates a big headache for defenses.********More importantly for the Wolves - drafting Curry after Rubio would have sold lots of tickets. They went from pick 5 and draft hoopla to pick 6 five minutes later and lost the fans that wanted to come back. Poor decision. Basketball is about winning AND making money for the people in the front office. I love watching Jonny Flynn play, though. Maybe they'll trade one of them later. Who knows? I'll watch them on tv instead of going to the arena now.
