There's no question that Stanford's offense is one of the best in the country. they seem to score just about anytime they want. And.......Toby Gerhart, well what can be said about this brute & graceful runner that hasn't already been said. As good as their offense is, their defense is one of the worst in the country. Particularly, their pass defense. Funny thing, it's pretty easily fixable if the defensive coordinator would instruct his linebackers and cornerbacks to get up in the opposing teams grill as they come off the ball. to sit back and play loose while giving them room to get 5-10 yards on pass plays is stupid to say the least. Doesn't take long to march right down the field and before you know it, Stanford's got their back against the wall. There's no excuse for them playing a loose prevent style pass defense the whole freeking game.
