Carter was a great choice but the truth of the matter is he is coming from Florida State where their is an unlimited budget and all of the resources that any team would need to garner success. Coach Carter has not had the MEAC experience. He has never been kicked out of his own gym so that the school can host an event in it. He has never been told no and as we all know, he will hear that quite a bit at SC State. He will have to adjust to takng guarentee games so that he can supplement his budget. So I wish Coach Carter luck but the fact is that SC State keeps hiring coaches who do not know what it is like to coach at a MEAC institution so although they come from great school they struggle.
