"A quick whistle on an apparent Purdue fumble late in the first quarter is the only quibble with a crew that largely stayed out of the way while the Buckeyes did themselves in."

The phantom holding call on Brandon Saine's TD run was a killer, as well. How do you overlook that?

How can you give a leaf to the offense? You need negative leaves.

Let's not forget the terrible decision by Tressel, not to run out the clock at the end of the 1st half. 3 points to Purdue and momentum at half time after their deflatting interception, kept Purdue in the game.

4 leaves for the officials, what game were you watching? Purdue was holding on many plays, shirt grabs everywhere, stifling our line. Then they call a TD back on us and the replay showed nothing. That fumble-strip by Coleman call was a game changer that would have made a tremendous difference in the game. Granted a team has to be able to overcome away game calls, but that's a 14 point swing changing everything both times. I know we can't blame the officials for this one, but no way the refs get a 4, 2 at best.

I'm predicting Gator Bowl or Captial One Bowl! They should just run the spread/option 100%, Pryor is not a very accurate quarterback and makes poor decisions.

Every coach has a shelf life. You can tell when a good coach's run is close to being over when good players play badly. The last two years look surprisingly like John Cooper's last two years!

No way the offense deserves 1 leaf...they get 0 leaves for doing nothing until Purdue stopped attacking on defense...no way the officials deserve 4 leaves...the horrid call on that fumble caused by Coleman was atrocious...Sanz clearly got his foot in on that 1 catch, terrible call on the holding that took away Saine's TD...plenty of missed holding on Pur...officials should get 0 leaves too...they were horrible.

The bucks only have one problem. No star running back. Without that tressels will have trouble.

Gotta say I completely disagree with the 4 leaves for officiating. Though the Buck's problems are not a result of the officials nor are their 10 penalties. How does a team play a game against a top ten team and only get one 5 yard penalty? If a block in the back can be called on Boren why wasn't it called on Purdue's multiple screens? Why do the Buck's d-linemen have stretched out shirts when the only holding call of the day happens on a OSU touchdown? Also, the whistle never blew on the fumble, the ref's said his foreward progress was stopped. C'mon that call was a complete joke. Even in the replay you never hear the whistle blow. Maybe the head of officials should not be a former official himself. Where are the checks and balances? Don't get me wrong, the ref's are bad every weekend, and not just against the Bucks. What is holding anyway?

Sorry but an unfair holding call that negated a well-deserved touchdown for the Buckeyes changed the entire complexity of the game. Officiating: 1 leaf for such a critical bad call.
