Fear the underdog? No, we need to fear the coaching. Down 9-7 at halftime after a pitiful performance there shouldn't be any need for a motivator to get your act together quickly. The coaching staff has shown no ability to make adjustments within a game, let alone from one game to the next. Midway through the season, and of course other teams now have a good plan for playing OSU because nothing changes on our part. No new looks, no new players, just the same old tired play book. Pryor looked like he was trying to force the idea that he can be a passing QB. Little 2-3 yard passes when he could've easily run those yards. I don't question Pryor's physical abilities to be a great QB, but I certainly question his mental abilities to be a great QB.

Brian Kelly (UC) chewed the backup QB out after an interception, last Thursday night. Look how that QB responded. Jim Tressel will never give a tongue lashing or a benching. The players know there is little consequence to there ineptitude. I take Kelly's style over Tressel, any day.

Pryor looked a lot like Michael Vick in that game. He had a couple good runs, a lot of bad throws, and found a way to lose. Good job buckeyes.

As it clearly needs pointed out to you Gator fans who get on the obscure Columbus Dispatch OSU message boards, Florida beat OSU in January 2007 for the BCS championship. Almost 3 years ago. You most recently beat Oklahoma in January 2009 for the title. Maybe try a Norman, OK website? They seem to be having some trouble this year also. Seems you get more excited about OSU losing games than your Gators winning games. Whatever floats your boat pal.

Sorry guys I'm going to tell you the truth you don't want to hear. I just watched the Purdue game and OMG. I saw 1) Pryor taking off his helmet multiple times, 2) Pryor visibly yelling in frustration at teammates 3) Pryor with 4 turnovers two fumbles and two picks 4) Pryor talking back to the head coach 5) Pryor walking in front of the head coach who was still talking while turning his back to him. HE HAS NO DISCIPLINE. A group of superior Ohio State athletes were beaten by a group of inferior Purdue athletes who had discipline. As long as Pryor is aloud to continue to behave like a child this pattern will continue. He talked trash leading up to this game and then could not back it up. I thought he was going to score a lot of points. The slaughter begins at Penn State.

After the most recent game against Purdue I am totally convinced: Jim Bollman is one hell of a lot smarter than most of us (including myself) have EVER given him credit. Jim Bollman manages to earn over $275,000.00 annually while producing worse offensive line units and individual linemen every year. He is in his ninth year of doing so and has kept this job longer than any other job he has had in his life. And, as "Offensive Coordinator" he doesn't even have to call a play by himself; he has expert (?!?) helpers in Jim Tressel and Darrell Hazell. And, he doesn't have to insure that his franchise quarterback (who apparently needs extra time to think) has more than a second or two before being swamped by lesser opponents. Yep...being able to hang onto his six-figure salary annually in view of his job performance since 2001 clearly makes "Bolls" smarter than "Tress", Gene Smith, Andy Geiger, Karen Holbrook, Gorden Gee, and anyone else who thinks he ought to reside anywhere near Columbus, Ohio. Hey Bolls...want a job in government?!? You'd fit right in!!!

I believe Pryor peaked in High School and Tressel should start the backup quarterback next game. You can write this season off and do not expect the Buckeyes to go to a prestige bowl game. Also the team has no running game. The major part of this is that Pryor is not a threat to pass so the defense can put 8 in the box. Even when he does pass he fails to plant his feet and passes on the run as a result the ball sails for an interception Two fumbles and two interceptions in one game is not acceptable. We better have a good quarterback recruit for next season. Pyor is no Troy Smith or Vince Young.

I've had friends and family calling me for the last few weeks telling me how Cincy is the best team in Ohio, and now I have to agree with them. Tressel is NOT an offensive coordinator. What's it take to get benched? PRyor needed to sit after all the turnovers but Tressel is an IDIOT who can't make adjustments, let alone see his offensive play calling is ineffectual!

You have one of the greatest legendary programs in the history of college football. And our coach wants to leave us for YOU? That makes it personal. We want to keep our coach and if we can exploit the fact that the great Ohio State if no longer what they were when Woody was there well we might get to keep our coach. Now do you understand? Deep down everybody and I mean Everybody has to love Ohio State just a little bit but I am personally disgusted at what the coach is letting a second year scrub qb do to your reputation.

The whole coaching staff needs to go! OSU could not have have played any worse. They cannot motivate this team and there is no discipline whatsoever. How long is this going to continue? No wonder we are not respected any more. JT has the nerve to say that there are some unhappy fans. Just wait until after the Penn State,Iowa, and Michigan games.

If Pryor continues to show terrible inconsistencies and terrible decisions, does Tressel have the guts to replace him? I don't know, Only time will tell on that one. I knew that the Bucks were overated, but come on Purdue has nothing. You don't lose to a bottom dweller home or away. Its just pathetic to see this lame offense week after week. If I can predict what the Bucks are going to do on each play Im sure these defenses are figuring it out.

The simple truth is this. OSU isn't a good football team. They haven't beat anyone worth a crap and lost to a team that isn't going anywhere either.
People can make all the arguments they want, but the bottom line is this, can you win and win consistantly. The Mighty Men of Troy are a perfect example of a great program top to bottom. Even in a rebuilding season they have managed to improve each week with a freshmen at QB.
Iowa will win the Little 11 and when Iowa is the best of that conference that tells the nation how bad the other teams are in that conference. USC will crush Iowa, just like we have crushed all other national pertenders from the Little 11 and do so with a true QB who is only a freshmen.
