They will bench Clark after two interceptions and a fumble. Clark is going to try too hard and make big mistakes against a very good Ohio St defense. If Penn St thought Iowa's defense was tough; they haven't seen a defensive front four like Ohio St.

It'll be a great game, no doubt about it. But don't expect two interceptions and a fumble from Clark. Frankly, the smart person would expect that from Pryor. He's the true sophomore... Clark's the fifth year senior. Pryor's running an offense ill-suited for his skillset. Clark's running an offense designed for his. Clark's got confidence he can win. Pryor? Regardless what he says, it's hard to imagine he truly believes he can lead OSU past Penn State's top-rated defense.

We shall see, look forward to chatting after the game. As I stated, Clark is going to try too hard to impress and it will be his downfall which will result in three turnovers. Pryor will be just fine and have no turnovers. |

1 I'd love to see Tressel come out with a wildcat attack offense showcasing short passes and option runs for Terrelle with maybe a Posey to Pryor long pass or two mixed in. I'd also like to get a new Cadillac for Christmas but that anin't gonna happen either. |

"Pryor will be just fine and have no turnovers."
Well, OK... I know that's what you're hoping for, dude. However, precedent and common sense suggest otherwise. Are you aware that Pryor has nine interceptions and at least three fumbles (I can't find the actual stat) so far this season... and Penn State's defense will be the best he's faced this year by a LARGE margin. If he doesn't learn to tuck that ball (or at least throw it away) he's gonna find himself in BIG trouble. Oh yeah... you probably don't know that Penn State's defense is ranked #2 in the country in sacks this season. He better wear a lot of extra padding. But, yeah, there's every reason to believe he'll be just fine with no turnovers whatsoever. LOL Best of luck to Pryor... he's REALLY gonna need it on Saturday. |

1 And your int numbers don't count the seven or eight additional ints that were dropped by db's. I counted at least 3 against NMST. If he can't make good decisions against mediocre and poor defenses, I'll believe that he can do it against the good ones when I see it. The key for Pryor will be keeping it to a minimum. As for the guy who thinks Penn State has a decided edge in coaching, exactly how many big games has JoePa won lately? They shared the conference title last year, but how many in the last ten? They were ready to run that guy out of town before the beginning of last year. Tressel could stand to learn a thing or two about offensive coaching, but it wouldn't come from JoePa. Silly statement. |

Case in point why Clark will try to do too much and make big mistakes..."Any time you play against a hometown legend like Jim Tressel and you're able to compete against his football team, you want to win the game," Clark said. "It really means a lot." Penn St gained a lot of their defensive stats from a weak non-conference schedule and a fairly weak Big Ten schedule, Ohio St talent is a tier above what you have faced so far including Iowa. Keep your hope alive. Catch you back here after the game. |

1 Pryor, no turnovers, Clark one int. Final score 24-7 Ohio State wins. Ohio St defense too strong, too quick, and too athletic. Penn St #2 ranked defense was an absolutely exposed by a very young offense. As I stated Penn St schedule was soft. The Bucks would be undefeated with their schedule. So much for that # 2 defense ranking, huh? Who is LOL now my friend? Buckeyes KNOW football. |

Pryor had no turnovers. He is young and learning. Cut him some slack, he will get there. He proved it against Penn St. This is the game in which Pryor turns the corner. |
