Buckeyes get three noon starts for football games

NFL Network is almost as useless a money-grab as the Big Ten Network.

Plus, it shows quite possibly the most ridiculous "sporting" spectacle on earth.

Really? Spoken like a true owner of basic cable. Or are you an elderly fellow who hates any changes in his environment, such as hybrid cars and wireless connections?

I have digital with HBO, Cinemax, Starz, and the HD package.

ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic (rumored soon to be ESPN3 or something, featuring real football), HDNet, and most importantly, FSC.

The Numerous Felons League channel can go pound sand. Same with the Big Ten Network.

Too lazy and cheap to pay up for GolTV and ESPNDeportes.

The three high school teams are not able to play on Saturday nights due to curfew laws for minors. Hence the noon kickoffs. But Michigan fans, not to worry, USC will spank Ohio State's butteyes on another Saturday night in September.

Can I tell you the story of Urban Meyer? Started at Bowling Green, went to Utah, then to Florida. Mentioned while at BGSU that his "dream job" was to coach for Notre Dame. He's doing pretty good for the Gators now.

Comparing Urban Meyer to Rich Rodriguez? Wow, kinda like comparing a BMW to a station wagon. I guess the big difference would be that Urban Meyer WINS big games. Rich Rodriguez loses them, and with a more talented player at every position. All Michigan fan should brace himself for is a loss to Northwestern. And you thought Appalacian State was bad...

Yeah, that about covers it. Go back to double-A, boys, this is the big leagues.
