Evidently "Knowledge" of the court and criminal system...I still do not get it when it comes to students who are practically given a college education just to play football and they blow it be doing boneheaded schitte.

What I do not understand is President Graham Spanier, Athletic Director and Coach Joe Paterno now have cases where guilty players have played all season, and then a case where an innocent young man is abandonded and terminated from the team.
It is time that pressure be applied to ALL students regarding their activities and FITNESS to be members of the Pennsylvania State University academic community. It should be standard review for any student being on campus that is charged and then convicted of a crime, what the penalities should be regarding participation in student activities as it progresses through legal system. It should not matter whether they are on football team, chess team, band, or any other activity sponsored by PSU. This is just another example of how messed up the PSU judicial review process is regarding students. |
