I'm glad to see that she'll be going away. It's too bad she won't be going away for longer.

An ongoing tragedy this incident/case has been for so many people. Although nothing can bring back Phyllis Johnson, I hope and believe Mike Durain and family will embrace the healing process and find some form of closure following yesterdays sentencing. I thank God every day for sparing Mike back on June 14, 2007 and I know Mike does too. I would like to give a special thanks to some other very important people. Every witness who testified, each juror and alternate juror who served on the trial, Joe Weimortz, Jr. and the entire District Attorney's office. Together you made our legal system work. Thank you all very much for your efforts. Girlfriend of the living victim.

Hang in there, Mike.

The pain you and your family has endured has been exceeded by your fortitude in surviving to face the root cause of your suffering.

Fight on.

I knew Christina Reeder. She is a very sick woman. When she was in the high speed chase a few years earlier, she said she was trying to kill herself. I wonder if that is what her plan was this time? She then asked me to write a letter for her because she was trying to get custody of her daughter. I told her I could not do it, because I did not feel she was fit to be a parent and she should give her child up for adoption. My heart goes out to the victim's family and Christina's child.

I was very sad to hear to what had happened. My condolences to the family of Mrs Johnson. Christina has a good heart. she is very sick girl and I hope she gets the help she needs. I know she is very sorry. Once again I am sorry for what has happened to the Johnson family and to Christina but most of all our daughter.
