I like what I'm seeing..UTEP getting it's (a) ss whipped in a Division III tournament.Look at all those bandwagoners crying there.You b! tch and moan all year about UTEP then they get in some tournament that I would be willing to bet half of you never heard of and you're all UTEP fans now...idiots

Well, well, well. Utep is a 20+ win team. OSU is a team that went 0-18 in league last year. Utep has superior athletes, could it be brains over brawn? OSU takes the CBI Championship (as a .500 team). Miners better use that pick to dig themselves a hole to hide in from the embarrassment.

Before some retard Miner fan gets on saying how they played with heart and all you guys have to realize that you are pretty terrible.

Oregon St. had a losing record and played in your sold out house. These guys came in and took your candy and basketball nets in front of your wives and girlfriends. Good luck in the CBI next year. LOL!

Same story every year, since 1966, UTEP sucks. UTEP prides themselves as the only TEXAS team to win a national championship, only texas team still in a tournament, only CUSA team still playing.

Come on el paso, this is like Bowie High School Baseball, we haven't won anything in present time. Only thing we are good at is soccer (couple years ago an el paso high school won) and thats about it.

All year long nobody showed up to the UTEP games, now we are in this high school tournament and now everybody goes, its sold out games. Its all about the bandwagon with El Paso, admit it, we el pasoans jump on any team that is winning. ha ha haha

im glad utep lost this fake tournament.

We gave up too many points!!! Too bad...I know it is only CBI championship but it would be nice to win last game at home. I think the expectation should be NCAA tourney next year. Last two games showed El Paso is hungry for big stage. Go Miners!

CBI, Tier III Tournament.........call it what you want. The UTEP basketball team had El Paso buzzing again with excitement. Let's face it....Sports are in the entertainment business and this CBI provided a very entertaining & exciting Championship Series for those who watched it. Way to Go UTEP. Good Luck next season. Always a UTEP FAN!!!!

This is stupid and humiliating. We should have won with superior athletes. Stephon Jackson's resume for the NBA has been ruined because he couldn't win a Division III championship and be the leading scorer in UTEP history. I am disappointed and its always the same in Football pure crap!!

wow some of the posters here need to grow up. it's a freakin basketball game & ppl had fun going to watch & cheer the team on. big fing deal if it wasn't the ncaa's. you make the best of what you have to work with & try to have some fun. crooked city, you need to remove whatever is crammed up your @$$ & chill out dude. I didnt see anything wrong with the officiating from either side. & if this is a division 3 tournament, how bout you name which of the teams in the bracket were division 3 in bball. besides, the only reason osu won the series is because they decided to shoot out of their minds from the 3-point. a 35% 3-point team just happens to go 53% & 63% in 2 of the 3 finals games, after they went 33% in the 1st 3 games of the CBI. sorry buddy, but that's what you call luck, I don't care how much you try to blame utep's defense.

let me just say that to all my UTEP MINER fans ,,, if your giving any other reason than Oregon State came here and KICK OUR a**, well then you were not watching the same game.....Oregon State did a great job and did what they had to do to win..... NO Stephon Jackson, no Culpepper....My hats off to the Oregon State Beavers..... you guys ROCKED>>>> congrats.... I don't want to hear this and that..... BEAVERS ROCK...
