I'm happy with our draft even though we didn't get a DT that I wanted, but I keep telling myself that we have a new staff that is more familiar with the 4-3 and Rob Ryan was a 3-4 guy, so hopefully the ones we already have will be better under the new coach. I am kind of skeptical over the small DEs (only weighing in at about 250 each but quite tall) so I kind of wonder if either will move to LB. The LB we drafted seems like a special teamer. We got two speedy WRs and hopefully they will come with good hands too, but I think our best pick was DB Mike Mitchell the hard hitting speedy safety.

I wish I could as optimistic as you but I for one was very disappointed. How do you pass on Crabtree just because you did not have a 40 time for him? Al Davis is holding this team back. Mike MItchell in round two? WTF. Should have went defense first round, Heyward-Bey?

i'm happy with the draft too. seems like tom cable is bring in good hard working kids.he could've went out and got to. and plax. and bad locker room guys.that could set the team back. he is looking at the long term.good young guys that want to get better.it may take a season to gel but they will get it and make some kind of push to the playoffs.with the speed at wide out the play action could be deadly.it could also help the te's and short passes to the backs.with time this could be a high power offense. looks like the raiders could be a good to great team down the road, but lets get good 1st.give tom time.
