Tate is awesome. I think he is the most fun player that we have had since Rocket. No one has shut him down, not even USC. Our D looked good, thats because everyones has against them. When done what we were supposed to do and I am glad that won, just not as glad as I would have been if we would have beat USC 2 weeks ago.

I think they play more into our quicker defense.
They've only passed for 3 or 400 yards all season so our horrible pass D won't be a factor.
I look for Teo And Filer and Flemming to have huge games.
We haven't had a speedy stable of linebackers like this since the early 90s.

Tate made an awesome catch from those multiple defenders in the end zone. It keeps getting replayed. I still think Tim Brown was better. He lived in Cavanaugh Hall. It got to the point where the other team would always punt away from Tim Brown. I wish they would bring that ND-Miami rivalry back. I would drive down from Tallahassee to watch it. The only irony of that rivalry called "Catholics versus Convicts" is that Miami is the only ACC school city that has a huge number of Catholics. The rest of the ACC is mostly Protestant like the SEC. So I don't think ND fans should have called them Convicts because they are fellow Catholics. South Florida is very heavily Catholic and one of the few "Non-Protestant" regions of the southeastern USA - the "Bible Belt."

the team was the convicts not the population. Not even the university, the university has a very large Catholic population, those teams then probably had none. By the way, did you only watch ND in the 90's? You keep bringing up the same old stuff, I love Tim Brown but he was only a big deal his last year. Why the history lessons? I am trying to cut you some slack because you are an Irish fan but come on. I don't think I need any lessons, believe me.

Here is Tim Brown back in the days when ND beat USC for thirteen straight years. It was like this EVERY year when I was there. We always beat USC. But next year ND looks to make major improvements and may actually beat USC again, which fell apart at Oregon.

That beats all!!! Why would the Irish come to Texas to play an elementary school in the AlamoDome.........for recruiting purposes, ya say? Well, playing elementary schools that come from the Pac-1 (Oregon) along with their 9 independent elementary schools that they play shouldn't help recruiting at all. Notre Dame sucks!!!:\

First of all, Notre Dame has the biggest patsy in the United States, USC. USC lost to Washington 16-13, which was 0-12 last year. LMAO. USC lost to the Pac-1 team Oregon 47-20! LMAO And, USC barely beat Ohio State 18-15. LMAO! Can you believe that? LMAO! Purdue (1-5 at the time; now 2-5 LMAO!) even beat Ohio State 26-18. LMAO!

By the way, didn't you or someone say that even USC went on long trips like playing Hawaii in Hawaii? LMAO! Well, La Tech beat Hawaii 27-6 this year. So, what's the big deal about traveling out to Hawaii. We went 2600 miles to beat Washington 31-23; and it could've been 31-16 had Washington not scored on the last play of the game. Washington disposed of the pastsy, USC 16-13!!! Can you believe that? LMAO!:) Nothing Dame had to go to overtime in South Bend to beat Washington.....IN SOUTH BEND (LMAO!)......37-30! LMAO!

Well, getting to main subject here (THE POWERHOUSE) LSU..........LSU is ranked #9! What is Notre Dame ranked? LMAO! LSU is in control of its own destiny (#1) because we still have #3 Alabama this week; and #1 Florida on November 5th in the GeorgiaDome. Then, our next game will be Texas in the Rose Bowl for an unprecidented 3rd BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

What bowl do y'all have?.........THE TOILET BOWL? LMAO!!!

That elementary school, Washington State is 1-7, with its lone victory over powerhouse, SMU 30-27! LMAO!!!!!!! So, it's obvious that Nothing Dame wanted no more than a scrimmage at the Alamo Dome. NOTHING DAME IS JUST THAT!!!.......N O T H I N G!!!

Actually, we've lost just the last two years to Arkansas. But, we've beaten Alabama 5 out of the last 6 years; and, Alabama hasn't beaten us in Tuscaloosa since 1999. LOL :)

Therefore, Arkansas beating us is HARDLY a tradition. LOL I would characterize Alabama losing to LSU more of a tradition than LSU losing to Arkansas, for sure, for sure.:) LOL
