They are playing so poorly right now that if an NIT invitation is offered that the Gophers should decline; a team that loses the last ten of eleven has no place in any post-season activity.

What a disappointing season. To go from spending half the season ranked in the top 25 to just hoping you get an invite to the freaking NIT? I can't even think of the last time I saw a team completely collapse like this.

How embarassing, Northwestern? I think Tubby has lost his touch, he recruits players who don't know how to make free throws. They turned out to be the laughing stock of the BIG TEN.

Thank goodness Northwestern put the Goldy Gophers out of their misery. Now we dont have to unplug them from life support. What a bunch of rodents.

Geeze, I didn't see the game, and man am I glad I was working, must have been the typical brutal effort we've seen the past 6 weeks. On to another pathetic Gopher football season? I sure hope not, can't take this garbage much longer, it's been decades man.

I'm gonna call Sid on Sunday morning and suggest that this sick program be busted down to intramural level so the REAL sports can have funding... true assessment but it should be entertaining!

Let's see...the furthest the Gophers ever got in the NCAA tourney was under Haskins who had at least 4 Minnesota players-----Kevin Lynch, Sam Jacobson, John Thomas and Trevor Winter...am I right? Tubby has little time for Minnesota talent. But Maturi is proposing a multi year extension with at least $ 2 million p.a. even though the coach eked out one victory in the last 11 games. How can any sane and sensible person conclude the contract extension is warranted?

This crew couldn't beat Normandale or Crown Beauty College. Time to hold the old boy accountable. Kentucky knew when the engine had broken down and the tires had lost all of the tread.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aquarius

You're very feisty and energetic and there's a lot you want to achieve. You'll get rather impatient if anyone stands in your way. A close emotional relationship will either be sexy and exciting beyond belief, or bad-tempered and tetchy. If you're in a grumpy mood, try to work out why - and what would improve matters. One thing that's bound to help is physical exercise, because it will burn off any excess nervous energy.
