Fever signs first player

I can't believe Devon Walker is playing in the arena league! He was one of the best underated college CB his senior year. Although his lack of ball skills was a problem that goes to show what type of talent there is in the arena football leauge.

Hold on, Devon Walker was a great corner, but there is a lot of talent on the practice squads in the NFL that would amaze you. He was amazing in the "WAC" conference but the most talented team he's played was hawaii & Boise State! He's a steal for an arena team but being under 190 and having a 4.45 40yd dash walker isn't qutie ready for the NFL.

You have to be kidding me man, i'm from cerritos, and I've seen Devon play. if he never dislocated his shoulder as a stating freshman, or tore his MCL as a soph when he was the leader of the defense; he would more than likely be starting for any NFL team right now. he had like 90 tackles and 2 int 3FF and he only played in 9 games in 2yrs u give him two full seasons he woulda been an SEC player instead of WAC. You people get forgeting he turned down the PAC10 (washinton st.) and TCU to play in a passing league (wac). That dude has size, speed, and he plays with heart unlike A lot of the ankle tackling corners in the league.

Devon is my nephew. The injuries hurt him double. He played big in big games at Nevada. He got screwed by a chump agent. Devon has character and will make it in Arena and beyond.
