It seems hard to talk about accountability when Carter is playing rather than sitting after his consumption charges.

Tim Brewster is a horrible football coach. The sooner he is fired the better. As soon as Maturi and Brewster are gone, we can get on with the business of building a real football program. Until then, fat chance.

No coach should rip his players, they need to know he has their back.

However, take a hint from successful college football programs...Iowa and Wisconsin, for example.

First of all, recruit big, tough offensive linemen. Secondly, recruit big, fast running backs. Without a running game, you lose.

That's exactly what you'd expect a ineffective coach to say. Hire Tony Dungy!

I hardly think Bret Bielema is the type of coach we want to model our program after...

why is it that MN with only one DIV 1 school cannot compete in the BIG TEN in football. every other state has numerous DIV 1 schools all competing. i contend it's simply coaching......if you can't win after 3 years, it's time to look for someone who will turn the program around. it's been way too long for this program to be flat. IT CONTINUES TO BE THE WORST IN THE WEAK TEN

Time to hold the coach and AD responsible for their 6-17 Big Ten record since Brewster took over as coach.

these "kids" need to hear it bluntly... "We played horribly!!, Pull your heads out and have some pride!! Play some football and turn this thing around, I didn't recruit you to rollover and play like a bunch of pansies! Get it going or heads will roll!!" Then Brewster needs to leave the room and let them figure it out. Good grief, they're not in kindergarten. Pathetic display.

I agree with the not hollering. There's too many coaches who think yelling fixes something. If a player really cares about getting better, helping teach them what they need to do beats yelling everyday. But a lot of coaches are trained yellers. As far as senior day, we have ten senior starters. What that tells you about this team is that it's as good as it's going to get. And some of the young guys better be ready to play and play well next year. It's year four of Brewster's five year deal, and I don't think he deserves another deal until he comes thru with what he promised.

Brewster needs to coach and quit with the HR bs. All of a sudden he's a teacher - just what over-matched Maturi and clueless Bruininks like to hear. What a kissass.

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
