All this kid has to do is be at least as good as Iverson and its no loss. Of course, he may be better but it is hard to develop juco transfers because Tubby will only have them so long.

Beating out South Dakota, Eastern IL and IL State for a recruit is a pretty sad comment on how low Tubby has this program.

The program is in great shape. The kid will fit in. We need his size and athletic ability

Unfortunately, you're correct in that he will fit in with the rest of Tubby's talent-challenged players.

We also have completely different definitions of a program in "great shape". I would definitely not define a program to be "in great shape" that ended the season 1-9, wasn't invited to play any postseason tourneys, graduates two of its top three players and is competing for recruits with some of the worst teams from the Missouri Valley and Ohio Valley conferences.

This team beat Carolina and was ranked in the top 15 when they lost their two top point guards. Losing Nolan meant the loss of Hoff as we knew him as well. This team collapsed due to ingury, but they return their entire frontcourt, walker comesback from injury, Otto and Elliason comeoff redshirts, and Hollins and Colman are 4 star recruits this team will be just fine. They won't win a title, but 3rd, 4th in the bigten and a sweet sixteen is not out of the question

The "highlights" amounted to one, three point shot that bounced around the rim a couple of times before it dropped through and a series of dunks. Does the name Rodney Williams come to mind?? Can he dribble? Can he play any defense? Can he do anything other than dunk when playing legion ball where no one plays any D. Hope he can offer something more, they certainly need it!

Tubby is a good guy, but not a good coach. Your assessment unfortunately is right on..
