Gas Stations Not Always Competing to Give Best Price

We were told for years that gas was high because oil was high. Now that oil is low, gas is lower than a year ago. I would think that gas should correlate to the price of oil and should be much less.

Tax should be lowered on a gallon of gas, at least while the economy is at record lows.

Decreased prices should increase profits to companies and school transportation. More fuel would be sold, and the economy could escalate. I have seen the economy decrease as the fuel prices rose to extreme highs.

They raise the price 50 cents and when it lowers a dime everyone rushes to buy it. They forget it is still much higher than it should be.

later, it would be raised again according to some country no one has heard of having war or whatever difficulty.

Now the economy is bad, folks try not to drive to save money, and the fuel companies are biding their time to increase again,as I have seen lately.

My wife is out of work, my paycheck is pathetic but I am glad to have what little I get.I make much less than I have in years past and everything costs more.

Just a few thoughts from a disgruntled Tennessean.
