not risk a high pick on a QB. You can find QB's mid to late in the draft.
For example, Brady-6th round, Bulger-
6th round, Warner-UFA, Hasselbeck-5th round. Look at some 1st round QB's
that struggled or never made it:Ryan
Leaf #2 overall in 1998, Heath Schuler
#3 overall in 1994, Cade McNown #12
overall in 1999, Akili Smith #3 overall in 1999. There are some great
ones that have gone in the 1st round
but take a big time OL or DL and not
only get longevity on the pick but
get value for the invested monies.
