1st thought ... WHAT!!! is he crazy?!?!?
until i read this: "This is a chance for Dwayne to get feedback on his game from general managers and NBA scouts on what he needs to do to have an opportunity to play professional basketball," Haith said. "I support Dwayne's decision to test the waters." If its true that all he is doing is testeing the waters ... then fine. But he will fine that the water is cold ... very cold. Maybe next year it may be a bit warmer. He a decent player .. but not NBA ready .. not this year. Also, I want to still have him here for next year. |

Wow...this will shake up the draft order!
Hopefully he sees that he likely won't get drafted and comes back. Enjoy your senior year big fella.
He is out of his mind.....there were times he would disappear against some of the lower teams in the ACC. He certainly is not ready for the NBA. That being said he certainly has a ton of atheletic ability.....but dunking on Josh Howard is nt the same as dunking on Greg Powlus

I dont think he needs a scout for feedback.. He needs to be more active in getting position down low, get more coordinated, and not turn it over sooooooooooo much. C'mon Collins I got nuttin but luv, but your not ready yet.
Dwayne. You don't need to speak with scouts and GMs. Just read this message board.
When your own fans who love you say you suck, maybe that's a sign. And by talking with GMs and scouts, it'll only make things worse because they'll think you suck AND they'll think you're crazy. Respect |
He's not even the best player on a bad team.
Come on now, Dwayne, stay in school and finish your degree, please.
Jack Mcclinton is the only one from last years squad that MIGHT have a chance in the end of the second round or go as a after draft pick. Your not ready yet! |
| ||||
Is this a joke? Besides the occassional rebounds, Collins sucks under the basket and has no offensive skill. I don't have a clue what he is thinking but Haith let him because he knows he won't be drafted and will be back. I might declare for the draft too

typical idiot cane, I hope he tears out his knee
Not ready for Prime Time D. Collins. But give it a go - you can always come back for another run. Wishing you "Much Success". Go Get Em!
Once again, typical comments from Gator Nation. How quickly we forget the brilliant decisions of typical idiot Gators like Anthony Roberson & Matt Walsh. As for tearing his knee, I feel the same about Tim "Football Jesus" Tebow. |
The stiff will be selected after me. I'm white, 5'8, weigh over 225 and can't jump. So, Dwight or Dwayne or Dweeb, whatever you friggin name is, them's your chances Dodo. Your lucky to be in school since you can't read or write and have no balls.
All body,no game. Get your degree.
I changed my mind. Hopefully Collins is successful in the NBA. That would prove to the world that Frank Haith really can't coach worth a lick.
You embarrass us! Sorry, Cane fans! I will give you a hard time in good spirit but I will never wish injury on any of your players! Very dissappointing to see a Gator wish this on anyone! |
You and Gator nation deserve each other! The only problem with your wish is Tebow can't get hurt! Too tough! |
