2009-2010 College Basketball Pre-season Top 25

some around the country have no idea of Kansas depth.. experienced depthwith great young talent. experience is big in tourney. Kansas had MSU down with few minutes to go but without depth ran out of gas. this year all the same team that had lead over runner up team AND added great freshman with incoming age . 7 footer Withey, 20 plus year old tough CJ Henry . many over 20 year olds on this team. 3 starting 5s Really 15 that could start on one or another top 25 team.

with ginyard and thompson back along with davis and fr. sesation henson, the heels will as big as they have been on the front lIne in some time.
my concern is in the backcourt.we will be in the thick of it all. GO HEELS !

UP FRONT THE HEELS GO 7',(2)AT 6/11",(2)AT 6/10 AND BABY THOMPSON AT 6/9.
with ginyard back and graves who I believe can realy help outside, it comes down to how fast our backcourt can learn roy's system.

Kentucky will have a great chance with the coach change and the high recurits that are coming. So watch out for us. We will suprise you!!

I'm just glad Illinois didn't make this top 25 pre-season pole! Their junior class is over ranked, Alex Legion is going to show the nation what a bust he is, Demetri McCamey will put on another 25lbs., their big guys(Mike Tisdale & Mike Davis)will get pushed around, yet again & their depth is going to consist on 2 really good freshmen(Brandon Paul & D.J. Richardson)& 2 other freshmen(Joseph Bertrand & Tyler Griffey) that are just not that good. Hey, Bruce Weber, how do you like the fact that your going to lose out on two of the top players in the state of Illinois(Wayne Blackshear & Mike Shaw)? As being the norm, Illinois will once again lose out on landing two of the states top high school players to other schools! Hey, Jereme Richmond, Crandall Head & Tracy Abrams, it's not to late to back out of your commitments! Eric Gordon knew he had made a mistake. He just came to his senses after he committed, what's wrong with that?

Sherron will eat Wall's lunch , Cole will dominate UK inside along with an icoming class right behind UK. freshman have done nothing yet for any team. LETS ROCK!

Also any games UK wins will be gone from record books. UK fans that believe Cal had nothing to do with UMass and Memphis... records out of books and he leaves?? come on... bad thing teams that lost to the cheater did not get to enjoy the final four. mark my words in the end UK fans will hate him just as they do in Memphis. NCAA watching this guy heavy. He will not pay the price UK will. time the head of program has to pay more than the schools!!!

Seriously, Cole dominating Patrick patterson, and Sherron dominating wall? Do some research and YouTube John wall. This kid is probably as good as lebron James out of high school. Sorry, no college basketball player would have dominated lebron if he hadn't gone strait to the NBA. And Patrick Patterson is one of the premier big men in the nation. Don't underestimate our talent, if you do you will be quite surprised.

UNC chances to go deep in the post season are good, because - and most people don't realize - Tyler's coming back. Yeap, really. While he'll be tested early on for a starting job by rookie Hansen, Zeller's incrediable talent and court smarts will energize and propel the team much like Hansbourgh did the year after UNC won the '05 national title. Tyler Two will make UNC basketball watching mighty good '09/'10.

Michigan State University should be number 2 0r 1 because they have a much improved durrell summers, kalin lucas, and Delvon Roe. They beat kansas last year who people are calling #1. They made it to the national championship and they beat the #1 team last year louisville. I think this is a tremendous, team with tons of depth that most people forget about.

kansas fans always talking down their noses like their program has done nothing wrong ever ... how quickly you forget kansas paying its recruits and being on probation for NCAA violations .... i guess thats ok as long as its a KU right ?

Kentucky is going to be GREAT. Look at their players: Wall, Cousins, Patterson,and all the others. Calipari is a great coach.

hey folks!!!! talk about your team all you like and name your players all you like. but, warning is, don't forget about memphis:-) if I am smoking something then ask kansas. we have not got our top recuriting class in yet. we only have 8 scholarship players, with cal taking all our players to kentucky*but,(maybe he was recuriting for kentucky). we WILL be back and soon. go TIGERS go. national championship on the way.
