Congratulations to Brian. He's accomplished what only hard work, discipline and humility can. He wasn't going to be happy walking around the local taverns telling his fellow coaches how great it felt to win the t-day game. He wanted more; wanted to be special and that only happens when you get out of the area. Just like leominster's Frank Novak, Scott Spinelli and Coach Osowski. Reach for the sky Brian, just don't tell the guys who think coaching revolves around a foolish rivalry between 16 year old students.

Isn't that the truth as much as we love the local HS rivalries there is a big coaching world out there. Brian congrats you've accomplished so much and there is alot more ahead of you in your coaching future. I agree with Bear Bryant coaches in the local area need to realize it's not about them and they should be doing everything they can to make the players better and get them into good schools.

As a FHS grad, I congradulate you Brian. I remember you all too well playing on thanksgiving day against my high school many times. I have to give credit where credit is due. He was one of the best high school football players I ever saw locally. Good luck Brian, Jim goodchild FHS 1962.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Leo

You'll be action-oriented today, Leo. If truth be told, intense physical activity has the ability to soothe you much more than frenzied mental exercise. Invitations to madness are the wrong thing for you, but they are tempting nonetheless. Dig in your heels and do what you know you have to do. When driving this evening, take extra care.
