Marshall players to hold rally for Bryant

When Ms. Gators makes the statement, "I'm quite surprised Ryan is one of the students pulling so hard for Lamont because Coach Bryant was really hard on him last year" does she think that because a cocah is "hard" on someone that it can't be a learning experience. Maybe the player was not working as hard as he shold have and the coach brought it to his attention in an effort to get the palyer to be the best player that he can be, not just someone who got by because his skills were a little better than the rest. Ms. Gators is doing a disservice to the entire school by making that blanket statement.

Let the students be heard.

Aren't coaches supposed to be hard on their players? Correct me if I'm wrong...Maybe that's why the girls team is not ranked in third place or better! What do ya say about that?

Did it ever occur to this person that mabe that is WHY he his pulling for this coach to come back? Maybe this player realizes that his coach cared enough about his future to not let him slack off or play his own game. She is assuming that this kid is selfish, which is completely out of line, especially as a representative of the school. It sounds to me like they fired the wrong person.

I dont know if anyone else has thought of this but it is very obvious to me that this is a jealousy issue. Before my father Coach Bryant arrived at Marshal Gators had the lime light because no one was focused on the boys, now that they have surpassed expectations and they now have the lime light she can't take it. In loose terms its called being a HATER.

He used those kids on the basketball team to get his own palm greased. It is about money and notoriety for himself, not about those kids. He is a jerk. When the truth comes out, you all will see.
And to Lamont Bryant, Jr. maybe your dad has fooled you, but to those of us who can think for ourselves, we know the real deal. Coach Gators is not a hater. She sees through all of your dad's B.S. Once again, like when he was at Whitney Young, and got fired, your dad got busted.

Coach Bryant was my gym teacher and soccer coach at Whitney Young. I thought he was great. I hope he enjoys his $500,000. I'm happy as hell for him.

We had a game against Bogan one time, and a near riot broke out. He was the first one to put his body in front of the Whitney Young players who were probably going to get their butts whipped.
