UCF falls on the road to Marshall for sixth loss in seven games

Full story: Orlando Sentinel

The slide continues. UCF senior Jermaine Taylor scored 28 points, but the Knights couldn't overcome foul trouble or get enough defensive stops to slip past Marshall, falling on the road 67-62 Saturday.

This is typical UCF style in both basketball and football.

Now, where are all the chest thumpers that made an uproar last month about how "neglected" the UCF basketball team is and how we should all be ashamed we don't go to the games and the newspaper ignores them, wah wah wah.

As people have said in previous posts, when UCF athletics can actually prove that they have a solid program, they might get attention.

So please, stop flipping out when the team starts winning (briefly) and then complaining that the community doesn't give them enough love.

It's been proven time and time again that it's just a fluke. When UCF has several years of consistency, then come back to us and we can talk. Until then, take a seat.

It's funny how this obsessed troll usually shows up only after a UCF loss. But she/he is nowhere to be found during the 17 wins.

To answer your question, we need to win these conference match-ups to be taken seriously. Once we dominate our conference, perhaps televised games will follow. On a side note, what years did you play? I went to all the home games when I was enrolled, from 1996-1999.
