I understand what you are saying but many polls have USC #1 in the country for a reason. With an improved Trojan defense, the pollsters know the talent and experience we have on offense has the ability to outscore ANYONE! Whoever has USC at #1 is nuts, could they end up there, it is possible, not likely though. I will admit that they should be good but I just don't see them anywhere near the top 3 and am not positive they are top 5. I am leaning #5, at best. Oregon, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Bama, LSU (not sold on them either) are better and deeper. There are other teams (besides those 5) that I think are a little better overall but I think USC has a slight advantage because of experience at QB (Barkley gets hurt and USC isn't in the top 15). Therefore I could swap LSU with USC and be comfortable.

You dont get paid for analysis so your opinion falls right in there with the rest of ours...pure speculation!

USC had more first-place votes (19) than the LSuers but we are third in the overall points (1,388). Also of important note, balloting was finished BEFORE the Trojans signed top RB Silas Redd, the transfer from Penn State. The assumption is that moves us back to the top slot!

BTW, you miss spelled - LoSerU.
Also I do see USleeze making it with D. But you must remain aware of the SEC all around ability.
Just saying. SEC is gonna have another NC under their belt this year. And when the playoff system is invoked, it will be almost every year.

It's always speculation. There is no argument there. Speaking in absolutes would be moronic because there is no way of knowing for sure until January. Things change, people get hurt, suspended etc. At this point I would put USC in my top 5, at 5. The coaches poll came out and put them in the top 3 but as we see year in and year out,it's the most flawed poll of them all. I think we came in at 24 and I say that is where we deserve to be. The team that I can't believe is ranked so high is Florida State. We dominated them in the bowl game and then had the turnover issue bit us in the ass again. They barely beat us yet are ranked high. I guess the coaches figures that they will eventually be right, they rank them high every season.

It's weird how conference teams that aren't very good can trip up even the best of teams. But what's interesting is that you are predicting it to happen. I can't wait to watch some football!

Washington always has our number. Sark and Kiffin were both at USC as assistants and Sark/Washington really plays over their heads against us. With the game being in Washington this season, I am going to call it an educated guess. Surely I would love to be wrong.
