@Elvis Presley It's just you. Cole dominates the college game. Were you watching the NCAA's this year? I can't remember ever saying that about Rick Rickert.

btw... I hate that this site makes hyperlinks of posts. Like the word game. Just writing that to see if it hyperlinks it.

What an ungrateful kid! He should have entered the draft this year to help out his families. I'm not just saying that becuase he'd look great in a timberwolves uniform...oh I guess it is the reason I'm saying it. I guess I reluctantly have to agree with his dad.

It's hard for me to shed a tear for a guy who's son is going to sign a multimillion dollar guaranteed contract next year.

At the risk of a personal foul for piling on, "it's you". The kid is a stud and would have been top 5 this year. He would have looked great in a Wolves uniform. Dad can wait a year.

Don't worry, the wolves will be picking plenty high next year to get a shot at Cole.

Why does everyone go for the negative angle right away? Cole is a good kid who values education. He is not selfish. The NBA is not going anywhere. It makes sense to take a year to work toward earning his degree rather than playing for a team that will yet again be in a transition stage.

As for Walt, he is a supportive dad. He supports his son's choices. No one is asking you to "shed a tear" for him.

Hate to say it, but a guy not working shouldn't be telling his son to wait until later to go to work. I know that may ruffle some feathers, but I would hope the dad is retraining for work in another field.

Nice to see a parent who knows best for his child. Most people see dollar signs and they do anything and everything to get the money. It sure is a nice change of pace though to see a father say; "My son will be better off with an education then money." Isn't that what life is all about though?

Please re-read the article.

"Cole has no regrets about staying in school. Like he said, he might as well enjoy college and playing basketball because, next year, he'll be doing it as a job."

like HE said

Yes, please enjoy playing basketball while your dad is unemployed. Not selfish at all....
